A method, a system, and a server for reducing noise in a workspace are disclosed. The workspace may have a plurality of terminals connected to a server via a communication network. The method may include detecting a noise level, which is above a predetermined threshold value, in or adjacent to at least one of the terminals. The noise level in or adjacent to a terminal may be detected by monitoring noise emitted from or in the vicinity of that terminal by a microphone associated with that terminal. The method may also include identifying the terminal at which the noise level exceeds the predetermined threshold. Further, the method may include initiating a measure for reducing the noise level.

A method for optimizing an abandoned call notification can be configured to address the misrouting of an emergency call which eventually gets abandoned by the caller, through managing the indication of an abandoned call between various network elements, e.g. Emergency Service Internet Protocol network (ESInet) elements. The abandoned call notification can appear in the correct Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) without any manual action involved in some embodiments. In addition, embodiments can also address calls which are routed in different jurisdictions due to failures in the original intended routing targets.

A method of processing an emergency incident reported to a PSAP by a plurality of callers can include checking, at the PSAP, if video calls have been received from the same specified location within a predetermined time period, and if it is determined that there are such further video calls, feeding at least a part of the video call and the further video calls to a ML classifier unit. The ML Classifier unit can identify if there are similarities between the video call and the further video calls. If there exists similarity between the video call and at least one further video call, a determination about which one of the video calls t uses less resources (e.g. less bandwidth). That video call can then be utilized and other similar calls can be adjusted to reduce the bandwidth further (e.g. converted to audio calls, etc.).

Computer-implemented method of processing an emergency incident and emergency communication network

A computer-implemented method of optimizing bandwidth in a public safety answering point (PSAP) environment ca n include retrieving content related to emergency incidents from a Social Media (SM) server, feeding the content to a Stream Processing Module having a Machine Learning engine for determining a similarity level between the emergency call and any of the emergency incidents retrieved from the SM server. If the similarity level exceeds a predetermined threshold value, then option for downgrading the emergency call to a call comprising only audio data can be provided. If this downgrade option is selected, the RTP stream of the emergency call can be downgraded to an audio call without any video.

Computer-implemented method of optimizing bandwidth in a PSAP environment and communication network

A method of processing an emergency incident reported to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) by a user of a mobile communication device can include receiving an emergency call, determining the geolocation of the mobile communication device that made the emergency call; triggering an SMS-CB so SMS messages are sent to mobile communication devices located within a predetermined area around the determined geolocation of the device that made the emergency call, and receiving a plurality CB-SMS response messages that include objects related to the emergency incident. An object comparison on objects extracted from the responses can be performed to determine a similarity of the objects with respect to each other. It can also be verified whether the similar objects have been received from co-located mobile communication devices.
