A user profile management method performed by a server according to an example embodiment includes creating a public profile corresponding to a first user account, creating a chatroom in which a participation permission option related to certificate information is set so as to correspond to the public profile of the first user account, confirming a participation right of a second user account that requests the participation in the chatroom, based on the participation permission option, and allowing the second user account whose participation right is confirmed to participate in the chatroom.
