A display device has a first area, and a second area that extends from the first area and has a bent shape, the display device including a display module including a display panel, which has a corner portion in the second area, an input-sensing member on the display panel and including a body portion, which overlaps with the display panel, and an extension, which extends from the body portion, is in the second area, and does not overlap with the display panel, and a first bonding layer between the display module and the input-sensing member, wherein an edge of the extension extends beyond an edge of the corner portion.

A method of manufacturing a display device includes: preparing a cover window including a bent part on a side surface thereof, and a guide film including a surface on which a display panel and an adhesive layer are arranged; arranging the cover window and the guide film in a face-to-face manner such that the adhesive layer faces the cover window; seating the guide film onto a seating pad of a first jig; pre-forming the display panel by bringing opposite ends of the guide film into close contact with opposite side surfaces of the seating pad using a pair of push members; and joining the display panel with the cover window by bringing the adhesive layer into contact with the cover window.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing display device

A laminating apparatus and method of fabricating a display device are provided. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the laminating apparatus includes a first jig, which is configured to fix a window having curved surfaces, and a second jig, which includes a pressure pad facing the first jig. The pressure pad includes a top surface, which is convex toward the first jig, and depressed portions, which are inwardly depressed from side surfaces, respectively.

Laminating apparatus and method of fabricating display device using the same

A method of laminating includes a step of preparing each of a first jig to fix a window, and a second jig including a shape pad, in which the second jig faces the first jig, and the shape pad includes each of a top surface protruding toward the first jig, sides surrounding the top surface, and at least one incision pattern, which is inwardly recessed from at least one of the sides of the shape pad and extends toward the first jig. The method further includes a step of bonding the window and the panel by applying pressure to the panel with the shape pad.
