Disclosed are techniques for performing thermal mitigation for one or more devices. For instance, a temperature, humidity, amount of light, and/or other characteristic or factor associated with a vehicle can be obtained. Whether to transition one or more communication functions from the vehicle to a user device can be determined based on the temperature, humidity, etc. In response to a determination to transition the one or more communication functions, the one or more communication functions can be transitioned from a communication unit of the vehicle to a communication unit of the user device.

An example method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a request for a vehicle extended reality (XR) session. The first user may have an association with the vehicle. The example method also includes transmitting uplink information associated with the first user XR stream. Techniques to facilitate a cloud-based vehicle XR experience

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating autonomous synchronization are disclosed herein. For example, a UE may be configured to perform an initial synchronization directly to PSCCH and PSSCH when other synchronization sources, such as GNSS, a base station, and/or SLSS, are unavailable. An example method for wireless communication at a user equipment includes receiving a PSCCH. The example method also includes performing an initial synchronization based on the PSCCH. In some examples, the method may also include receiving a PSSCH, and determining a logical subframe number modulo 10 based on the PSSCH. The logical subframe number modulo 10 may correspond to a sequence seed.

Techniques to facilitate LTE CV2X autonomous synchronization

Techniques described herein provide for filtering and prioritizing incoming messages, which can help reduce and smooth out the processing load on components used to process the incoming messages. Filtering techniques may comprise identifying a subset of nearby vehicles from which messages are to be processed, and further calculating remaining delay budgets with regard to the messages to prioritize them for processing. Different techniques for determining a subset of nearby vehicles can be used, and/or remaining delay budgets may be calculated and/or communicated in different ways.

Aspects of the present disclosure describe transmitting data in wireless communications. A set of packets for transmission in a defined sequence can be received where the set of packets includes two or more packets. It can be detected that a packet, of the set of packets, is a prioritized packet type. The packet can be prioritized for transmission ahead of its order in the defined sequence based on the detection of the prioritized packet type. The packet can be transmitted ahead of its order in the defined sequence to an access point.

Prioritizing packets in wireless communications

Aspects directed towards synchronizing out of coverage (OOC) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications are disclosed. In one example, a scheduled entity detects a loss of a synchronization signal associated with a V2X communication by detecting when a timing uncertainty value or error value is greater than a threshold value. Packet timing information is then received in response to the loss of the synchronization signal from at least one user equipment (UE) synchronized with the synchronization signal. The scheduled entity then maintains the V2X communication by performing a timing adjustment based on the packet timing information.

A UE may receive, via a first communication link that uses a first radio access technology (RAT), information that identifies a threshold associated with a second communication link that uses a second RAT. The UE may monitor one or more communications on the second communication link. A method for wireless communications by a user Equipment (UE) is provided. The method generally includes identifying at least one evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (eMBMS) session available for receiving one or more eMBMS services from a base station. The method also includes taking one or more actions to reduce a conflict between receiving the one or more eMBMS services from the base station and receiving a paging message from the base station during the eMBMS session. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Various embodiments include methods that may be implemented in a processor of a computing device for MPRTP transmission of Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP) packets. Various embodiments may include receiving an RTP packet in which the received RTP packet may be part of an RTP stream that may be protected using secure RTP (SRTP), and applying an authentication signature to the RTP packet to authenticate an MPRTP header extension separate from a body of the RTP packet. Particularly, methods and apparatuses are presented for suppressing a serving cell change based on a speed of the UE. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Data for a broadcast or multicast service may be sent over a control channel. A network device may broadcast a message to indicate a plurality of enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service (eMBMS) services offered by the network. The mobile device may transmit an indication to the network device identifying an eMBMS service of interest. The network device may transmit a configuration message before broadcasting or multicasting data of the eMBMS service of interest. The configuration message may notify the mobile device of a control channel on which to receive the data related to the eMBMS service. The network device may then broadcast or multicast the eMBMS service data on the control channel. The data may be segmented at a particular protocol layer and mapped to several transmission time intervals within each repetition of the control channel.
