The invention provides a method for homogenized coherent excitation of a sample for determining molecular structure. The method includes selecting a monochromatic coherent light, homogenizing the monochromatic coherent light; irradiating the sample with the homogenized monochromatic light; collecting the Raman scattered light to obtain a profile and analyzing the profile to obtain chemical specific signature of the sample. The invention also provides a method for obtaining two dimensional imaging of a sample using irradiation of large sample area by homogenized monochromatic light without compromise in spatial resolution. A system for homogenized coherent excitation of a sample for determining molecular structure is also provided.

Homogenized coherent excitation of a sample for determining molecular structure

The invention provides a method for rapid detection of a specific bacterial species. The method includes preparing a sample, irradiating the prepared sample with an electromagnetic radiation of specific wavelength, capturing the electromagnetic radiation scattered by the sample to obtain a Raman spectra and analyzing the Raman spectra to obtain a unique biochemical signature. The unique biochemical signature identifies a single bacterium within the sample. The method also provides for rapid detection of a group of bacterial species within the sample. The method takes about 1 minute to about 1 hour for the detection of specific bacterial species.

The invention provides a method for chemical signature resolved detection of a concealed object within a system. The method includes irradiating the system at a plurality of positions with aplurality of electromagnetic radiation of specific wavelength; capturing a certain component of the scattered electromagnetic radiation from the object at a plurality of locations along various 3D planes around the system; obtaining a plurality of profiles from the captured component of the scattered electromagnetic radiation; filtering the profiles to obtain a chemical signature specific to the object; and resolving the chemical signatures to detect the concealed object, wherein, the step of detection includes determination of the shape, size and location of the object.

The invention provides a method for obtaining sample specific signatures. The method comprises of irradiating the sample at a predefined location with an electromagnetic radiation of specific wavelength; selectively capturing a certain component of the scattered electromagnetic radiation to obtain a plurality of profiles; and filtering the profiles to obtain a sample specific signature. The invention provides an apparatus for obtaining sample specific signatures.

The invention provides a method for detection of hazardous chemicals in a non-metallic container. Method and a system for detection of hazardous chemicals in a non-metallic container

The present invention relates to a method for detecting vibrational structure of a molecule by generation of the Loss signals with the help of interaction of White Light Continuum (WL) and narrow spectral width picosecond pulse on the surface of the sample, known as Ultrafast Raman Loss Spectroscopy (URLS). The invention further defines a system for generation of Loss signals for detection of the vibrational structure of a molecule.
