A power harvesting system is provided for harvesting power from a current carrying conductor for powering a load. The power harvesting system includes an energy conversion module at least partially disposable on the current carrying conductor, and an impedance regulation module coupled to the energy conversion module. The energy conversion module couples an induced voltage proportional to a line current flowing in the current carrying conductor, for powering the load. The impedance regulation module dynamically regulates impedance in the power harvesting system for controlling transfer of the power harvested using the induced voltage and the line current, to the load.

A method and system for determining the position of a C-arm of an X-ray system is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a primary X-ray image of a desired location on a patient's body, obtaining a secondary X-ray image of the desired location on the patient's body, adjusting the secondary X-ray image with respect to the primary X-ray image using one or more touch based gestures, determining the subsequent location for X-ray imaging on the patient's body, and positioning the C-arm of the X-ray system to the subsequent location for X-ray imaging on the patient's body.

A method and a parameter estimation system are provided for controlling an electrical machine, (e.g., an induction motor), powered by a drive unit. The method and the parameter estimation system disclosed herein detect a travelling wave generated on a linking element disposed between a first connection point, which is at least one terminal of the electrical machine, and a second connection point, which is at least one terminal of the drive unit. Further, the method and the parameter estimation system disclosed herein obtain at least one of a plurality of wave characteristics associated with the travelling wave, (e.g., an amplitude, a width, a frequency, a travel time of the travelling wave). Further, the method and the parameter estimation system disclosed herein determine one or more control parameters, (e.g., an operational torque and speed), of the electrical machine based on at least one of the wave characteristics.

Methods and systems for controlling an electrical machine

A dynamic impedance system deployable on a current transformer having a core and at least one winding element is provided. The dynamic impedance system includes a voltage reference module and a dynamic impedance module operably connected to one another. The voltage reference module defines a voltage threshold for regulating an output voltage of the current transformer. The dynamic impedance module regulates the output voltage based on the voltage threshold defined by the voltage reference module to maintain flux induced in the current transformer, thereby avoiding core saturation of the current transformer and enhancing accuracy of measurements.

A method of reducing motion blurring in digital radiography includes capturing at least one temporally coded blurred image of an object generated by using a coded pattern, and generating a de-blurred image from the at least one temporally coded blurred image by using the coded pattern and an estimate of a motion vector of the object. The at least one temporally coded blurred image is captured by using a total amount of generated light corresponding to at least a portion of radiation transmitted by the object. A digital radiography system is also provided.
