Disclosed is a centrifuge including a rotationally mounted drum and a worm mounted therein in a concentric manner to rotate at a different speed therefrom. The drum and the worm are driven by a stationary motor unit. A hydraulic motor, provided with a housing and a rotor and fed by means of a hydraulic pump, is mounted therebetween. Such a centrifuge has the hydraulic feed pump assigned to the hydraulic motor to rotate along with the hydraulic motor while the rotor thereof is supported outside the rotating centrifuge parts to not rotate together with the rotating centrifuge parts. Additionally, the quantity of liquid delivered to the hydraulic motor by the feed pump is modified via displacement members actuated in a hydraulic fashion and disposed on the drive unit to rotate therewith.

What is disclosed is a radial piston machine having a plurality of radial pistons each guided in a respective cylinder space, wherein the cylinder spaces may be connected with supply and drain passages for pressure medium via control recesses. The opening cross-sections of the control recesses and of the supply and drain passages are provided with curved end face portions.

The invention relates to a hydrostatic traveling mechanism ( ) which comprises a hydraulic pump ( ), a first hydraulic engine ( ) that is linked with the hydraulic pump ( ) via a hydraulic work circuit ( ) and that drives a first drive train ( ). The traveling mechanism further comprises a second hydraulic engine ( ) that is linked with the hydraulic pump ( ) via a hydraulic work circuit ( ) and that drives a second drive train ( ). The inventive traveling mechanism is also provided with a third hydraulic engine ( ) that is coupled with the first drive train ( ) and a fourth hydraulic engine ( ) that is coupled with the second drive train ( ). The third hydraulic engine ( ) and the fourth hydraulic engine ( ) are linked with each other via a hydraulic secondary circuit ( ) that is independent of the work circuit ( ).

Hydrostatic traveling mechanism

The invention concerns a technically optimized radial piston engine comprising a cam ring and a cylinder block arranged so as to rotate about an axis of rotation relative to the cam ring and having a plurality of cylinders oriented in the radial direction of the cylinder block. A piston capable of being radially displaced is located in each cylinder, resting on the cam ring via a roller. Said roller is mounted on the piston so as to rotate about an axis parallel to that of the cylinder block and rests axially, relative to its axis of rotation in the cylinder, against roller guides arranged on its surfaces. Said radial piston engine is characterized in that the roller guides are integrally mobile with the roller associated with them, in the piston stroke direction, and thereby driven by the roller both when the piston performs a loaded stroke and an idle stroke, without any contact occurring between the roller guides and the cam ring. The pistons are rotationally fixed by a torsional stop which is separate from the roller guide.

A hydraulic radial piston machine having a lifting ring and having a cylinder block which is arranged with respect to the lifting ring in a manner allowing it to rotate about an axis of rotation and has a multiplicity of cylinders oriented in the radial direction of the cylinder block. Each of these cylinders accommodates a displaceable piston which is supported on the lifting ring via a roller. The roller is mounted on the piston in a manner allowing it to rotate about an axis of rotation parallel to the axis of rotation of the cylinder block and is held in the direction of its axis of rotation axially in the cylinder via roller guides which are situated in front of its end sides and are torsionally secured with regard to the axis of the cylinder relative to the cylinder block. To obtain the torsional securing of the piston and roller about the axis of the cylinder with little outlay in this hydraulic radial piston engine at least one of the two roller guides of a roller is torsionally secured directly with respect to the cylinder-block without an additional part.

A drive device which has small dimensions an axial and radial directions. The small dimensions of the device are a result of a brake body of a friction brake provided in the drive device being located at least partially within an enclosure configured in a rotor.

A radial piston engine is provided having recesses in the area of movement of the rollers, adapted to receive roller sections on both roller end faces. For guiding the roller end faces, oppositely located guide surfaces are milled in the cylinder block for said rollers.

Braking apparatus, in particular braking apparatus, using discs for use together with a rotary disc support adapted to support a first set of discs. A brake housing is provided which support a second set of discs which are interdigitating with the first set. A brake piston is located in an opening of the brake housing in a reciprocable manner. A Spring biases the brake piston towards the first and second sets of discs. Separately from the brake piston a cover mounted at the brake housing is provided.

The invention relates to a radial piston engine, particularly a radial piston motor comprising a cylinder block within which a plurality of pistons and rollers are reciprocally mounted for cooperation with a cam path provided by a cam disc. Detent means are used to releasably locate the cylinders and rollers in a position corresponding with the lower dead point position of the pistons.

A radial piston engine comprising: a housing, an annular cam disk fixedly mounted in said housing, a cylinder block rotatably mounted about an axis with respect to said cam disk, a plurality of bores arranged in said cylinder block in a position radially with respect to said axis of rotation, a plurality of pistons respectively mounted in said bores, and cylindrical rollers for supporting said pistons on said cam disk, said rollers having axes which extend parallel to the axis of rotation of the cylinder block, and wherein said bores of said cylinder block which are adapted to receive and pistons are provided with recesses in the area of movement of said rollers, so as to receive sections of said rollers on both endfaces of said rollers.

The invention relates to a piston machine comprising a plurality of pistons and changeable piston displacement for varying the torque and speed. The pistons are connected via control bores and distributor passages in the distributor of the machine to a high pressure and low pressure connection. To reduce the displacement a switching valve is provided via which the inactive pistons are connected together via their distributor passages and also possibly subjected to an external very low servo pressure or tank pressure. This reduces the frictional losses, increases the efficiency and avoids flow losses of the valve.

In a radial piston machine which includes a driven rotatable rotor with radial pistons displaceable in radial recesses of the rotor by pressure medium and carrying rollers which cooperate with a cam track of the rigid cam plate, the length of the rollers can be increased due to the provision in the bores receiving the rollers respective opposing recesses in which portions of the roller are received.

Radial piston machine

A radial piston machine includes a stationary cam plate and a rotational cylinder block provided with radial bores receiving a plurality of radial pistons displaceable in those bores and supported against the cam plate surrounding the cylindrical block by rollers. Each piston has in the region of supporting the roller a web which is cured and supported in one of the grooves formed in the cam plate.

A piston for a hydraulic piston machine in which a piston body receives a ball in a space defined at one end of thereof. A bearing dish supports the ball in the space with an O-ring engaging the recess to seal the bottom surface of the bearing dish. Preferably the bearing dish is formed with a steel support layer, a bronze layer cast onto the steel support layer, and a plastic layer supporting the ball.
