Provided is an organic light emitting display device. The organic light emitting display device comprises a substrate including an active area and a non-active area enclosing the active area; a first inorganic encapsulation layer disposed in the active area and at least a part of the non-active area on the substrate; an organic encapsulation layer disposed on the first inorganic encapsulation layer; a second inorganic encapsulation layer disposed on the organic encapsulation layer; and a dam disposed between the first inorganic encapsulation layer and the second inorganic encapsulation layer in the non-active area. At least a part of the organic encapsulation layer is in contact with one surface of the dam.

Organic light emitting display device

A foldable display device includes a display panel including a folding area and non-folding areas on both sides of the folding area in a folding direction; a first support substrate configured to support the display panel under the display panel and including a plurality of opening patterns corresponding to the folding area; and a second support substrate between the display panel and the first support substrate and including a plurality of protrusion patterns protruding to be inserted into the plurality of opening patterns. Sizes of the plurality of protrusion patterns are smaller than sizes of the corresponding plurality of opening patterns. Therefore, it is possible to improve durability and prevent or at least reduce degradation of folding characteristics of the foldable display device.

Foldable display device

A foldable display device includes a display panel including a folding area and non-folding areas on both sides of the folding area and a back plate disposed under the display panel; and a support substrate disposed under the back plate and made of a metal or alloy including a plurality of pores, the support substrate includes a plurality of groove patterns recessed from a bottom surface toward a top surface of the support substrate and corresponding to the folding area, thereby minimizing recognition of the patterns in the folding area of the display panel and improve the folding properties.

A foldable display apparatus includes: a non-folding area, and a folding area, in which an aperture ratio of a plurality of red sub pixels in the folding area is lower than an aperture ratio of a plurality in red sub pixels of the non-folding area, an aperture ratio of the plurality of green sub pixels in the folding area is lower than an aperture ratio of the plurality of green sub pixels of the non-folding area, and an aperture ratio of the plurality in blue sub pixels of the folding area is lower than an aperture ratio of the plurality of blue sub pixels of the non-folding area.

Foldable display apparatus

A foldable display device according to the present disclosure includes a display panel including a display area and a non-display area, a touch panel disposed on the display panel and including a bridge electrode, a plurality of insulating layers, a first touch electrode, and a second touch electrode. The device includes a plurality of crack stoppers disposed in the non-display area of the touch panel and configured by patterning the insulating layers and an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer fills a space between the plurality of crack stoppers from which the insulating layers are removed, and is disposed between the display panel and the touch panel. Accordingly, crack occurrence may be suppressed even if a folding/unfolding operation of the foldable display device is repeated. Thus, crack occurrence in the foldable display device may be improved and at the same time, folding characteristics may increase.

A display apparatus includes a flexible display panel including a display area configured to display an image and a periphery area adjacent to the display area, a first light shielding member, configured to shield a light at least a portion of the periphery area at a first light shielding rate, disposed on the flexible display panel, an adhesive member configured to cover the first light shielding member and the flexible display panel, a second light shielding member, overlapped at least a portion of the first light shielding member, configured to shield a light at a second light shielding rate, disposed on the adhesive member, and a cover member configured to cover the adhesive member and the second light shielding member.

Display apparatus

A foldable display device includes a display panel configured to be folded around a folding axis. The display panel includes spacers disposed in a non-folding area and a folding area, and the spacers may have different sizes or densities. Dimensions of the spacers may be in a direction of the folding axis or intersect the direction of the folding axis. The display panel also includes pixels in an active area that overlap with the spacers, which may help reduce peeling, cracking, defects, or reduction in pixel brightness due to folding of the display device.
