The invention concerns a process for preparing an EU-1 zeolite having a XO/YOratio in the range 10 to 100, comprising the following steps:

Process for preparing EU-1 zeolite

The invention describes a porous composite material that comprises a porous substrate based on a refractory inorganic oxide in which said substrate has a zeolite crystal content that is less than 25% by mass, whereby said crystals are dispersed homogeneously in the pores of said substrate, and the distribution coefficient that is measured by Castaing microprobe is between 0.75 and 1.25, and in which the total pore volume of said substrate represents at least 40% of the initial total pore volume of the substrate, and the mean diameter of the pores represents at least 50% of the mean diameter of the pores of the initial substrate, its process for preparation and its use as catalyst in the hydrocarbon feedstock conversion reactions.

Zeolitic catalysts, their process for preparation and their applications

A preparation process is described for a porous composite material formed from an amorphous core based on at least one silicon oxide on which crystals of EU-1 zeolite are dispersed, said process comprising 1) the impregnation of a solid comprising a silicon oxide and an aluminum oxide with an aqueous solution comprising a hexamethonium cation, 2) the hydrothermal treatment, implemented in an autoclave of volume V (ml) under steam and at a temperature T comprised between 120 and 220&#xb0; C., of said solid from stage 1), the quantity of water introduced beforehand into said autoclave being strictly greater than a volumetric quantity equal to V*[23.48*10*T&#x2212;48*10*T+5*10*T&#x2212;0.002] and less than or equal to 0.25*V, and is such that said solid is not in direct contact with it, 3) the drying then calcination of the solid from stage 2). The preparation a catalyst from said material for its use in the isomerization of Caromatics is also described.
