A system for generating a linear movement including an electromagnetically charged body which is free to move along a main direction, a static field generator, and two buffer elements. The movement of the electromagnetically charged body along the main direction is controlled by the static field generator and by the buffer elements. The static field generator is alternately powered with a power profile such as to generate the displacement of the system in one of the two ways along said main direction.

The invention concerns a battery () comprising at least a first electrode () and a second electrode (), placed at a suitable distance from each other, wherein said battery comprise an active material is between said electrodes (), said active material comprising: at least one oxygen-containing compound selected from the group consisting of MgO, ZnO, ZrOCl, ZrO, SiO, BiO, AlO, FeO, FeOand TiO; at least one salt selected from a chloride-containing salt and a sulphate-containing salt; at least one thickener additive selected from the group consisting of agar-agar, xanthan gum, methylcellulose, and gum arabic, and at least one plasticizer additive, wherein the particle size of the at least one oxygen-based compound has an average diameter in the range from 10 nm to 40 μm.

Semi-solid battery with recharging capability

The present invention generally relates to a system for generating a linear movement, comprising an electromagnetically charged body (, MM) free to move along a main direction, a static field generator (, Bob), and two buffer elements (; RM,RM; ML, ML; MA,MA; MF,MF). The movement of the electromagnetically charged body (, MM) along the main direction is controlled by the static field generator (, Bob) and by the buffer elements (; RM,RM; ML, ML; MA,MA; MF,MF). The static field generator (, Bob) is alternately supplied with a power profile such as to generate the displacement of the system in either orientation along said main direction with a frequency &#x3a9; obtained through the formula (I). 

The invention relates to an active material comprising at least one oxygen containing compound selected from the group consisting of MgO, ZnO, ZrOCl, ZrO, SiO, BiO, AlOand TiO, at least one thickener additive selected from the group consisting of agar agar, xanthan gum, methylcellulose, and arabic gum, and at least one plasticizer additive, wherein the particle size of the at least one oxygen-based compound has an average diameter in the range from 10 nm to 40 &#x3bc;m. The invention concerns also an electric power generator (EPG) comprising at least a first electrode () and a second electrode (), wherein the electric power generator comprises the active material between said electrodes ().
