The present disclosure describes a preformed or in some cases a hot applied thermoplastic marking composition comprising a planar top surface portion and a planar bottom surface portion that are coplanar to each other, wherein said bottom surface portion is directly applied to a substrate via application of heat or pressure or both heat and pressure and wherein said top surface portion comprises an intermix that exits throughout said thermoplastic composition and includes large grit size aggregate in the range of about 8 to about 20 mesh or grit size, thereby reducing or eliminating tire tracking while also improving long-term skid resistance.

Alkali resistant preformed thermoplastic pavement marking composition

A knitted therapeutic medical compression stocking made from courses of bi-component fibers inlaid courses of spandex yarn. The use of bi-component yarns, in particular, crimped yarns having an elastomeric core preferably of a polyurethane and a thermoplastic sheath preferably of a polyamide when knit with inlaid courses of bare spandex, covered spandex, or spandex covered with a bi-component yarn forms therapeutic medical stockings that provide excellent compression control. In addition, these therapeutic stockings are more transparent than conventional therapeutic stockings. The therapeutic stockings of the present invention may be knit on a conventional circular hosiery knitting machine.

Therapeutic stockings

There is provided a method for testing the forces experienced by a wearer when donning a tubular article. The method includes securing one end of a tubular hosiery article to be tested to a support, inserting a tension tester head within the tubular body and measuring the force against the article surface as the tester head passes through the article. An apparatus for performing this method is also disclosed. The tester head has a geometric shape that may be advanced by withdrawing the head through the hosiery or the hosiery may be drawn past the tension head.
