In one embodiment, a collapsible, flexible storage tank is provided that is capable of holding a liquid material. The tank includes a sheet of flexible, moisture impervious side wall material; at least one opening for receiving a fitting to fill and drain the tank; joining seams wherein edges of the sheet are joined, the seams extending about the tank in a spiral orientation; and closing seams wherein the side ends of the pillow tank are sealed. In another aspect, a collapsible, flexible storage tank is capable of holding a liquid. The tank includes a sheet of flexible side wall material; at least one opening for receiving a fitting to fill and drain the tank; and butt seams wherein edges of the flexible sheet are joined together in the same plane in a butt joint configuration using an overlapping piece of flexible, moisture impervious sealed material over the top thereof.

Method of fabrication of collapsible storage tank

In one embodiment, a vent assembly for mounting on a collapsible storage tank is provided including a flange member having a central hub, and a flange extending outwardly from the central hub; a top sealing layer of flexible fabric having a hole for receiving the central hub and mounted at least partially over the flange and extending outwardly beyond the flange; an intermediate sealing layer of flexible fabric having a hole aligned with the opening in the hub and mounted beneath the flange and extending outwardly there beyond and bonded to the top sealing layer beyond the flange; and a wall of the collapsible storage tank formed from flexible fabric material, the intermediate sealing layer bonded to the wall.

Vent assembly for collapsible storage tank

The present invention provides an adjustable mounting assembly for use with a truck having a truck bed cover. Generally, the assembly includes hinge couplings that are detachedly fixed to a truck bed cover support frame. The hinge couplings hingedly attach to a lower hinge bar detachedly secured to the top edge of the truck bed cab wall. The lower hinge assembly provides a support channel for a base portion of first and second L-shaped hinge rails. The support channel allows the installer to adjust the hinge rails to the width of the track bed in which the assembly is being installed. Clamp assemblies are provided to fasten the elongated portions of the hinge rails to the side walls of the truck bed whereby the mounting assembly is secured to the truck bed without having to drill mounting holes. The hingedly attached truck bed cover moves pivotally about a pivot point along the top edge of the truck bed cab wall. The mounting assembly provides increased accessibility to the cargo area beyond that provided by conventional devices used to install truck bed covers.
