A device () for discharging liquid water from a water separator () in a fuel cell system (), having a valve device (), a liquid sensor () and a control unit () which controls the valve device () depending on measured values of the liquid sensor (). The liquid sensor () is arranged downstream of the valve device () in the flow direction.

Device for discharging liquid

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell with an anode chamber and a cathode chamber. The fuel cell system also includes a recirculation device that recirculates anode exhaust gas to the anode input, which includes a discharge line for discharging liquid and/or gas from the region of the recirculation device, and an air conveying device for supplying the cathode chamber with a supply air flow. A water separator, which is connected to the discharge line and through which at least a portion of the supply air flow passes, is situated between the air conveying device and the cathode chamber in the area of the supply air flow.

Fuel cell system comprising a water separator

A device for connection of a line element to a component is provided. The line element ends in a connection housing or is connected to such a connection housing. A releasable fixing arrangement is configured between the connection housing and the component. A line section extending in the connection housing is heated by an electric heating wire. The heating wire externally surrounds the line section. The heated line section projects in the direction of the component so far over the region for releasable fixing of the connection housing on the component that it ends in the inner space of the component.

Device for connecting a line element to a component

A vehicle drive system comprises an electrical drive motor and a fuel cell system providing the electrical power. According to the invention, the drive motor and the fuel cell are integrated into a unit and firmly joined together. The fuel cell system may comprise two fuel cells or fuel cell stacks, which are arranged relative to each other so as to form a 'V'. Peripheral units for operation of the fuel cell may be arranged in an interior of the V.
