A method for producing a single-layer waterbar, use of a single-layer extruded profile as a waterbar, a method for sealing an internal or an external joint between two sections of concrete, and sealed construction; wherein the production method includes extruding a melt-processed starting composition through an extruder die to form an extruded profile, wherein the starting composition includes 35-75 wt.-% of at least one polymer and 25-65 wt.-% of at least one solid particulate filler.

Fully bonded single-layer waterbar

A sealing device includes a waterproofing membrane, an adhesive sealant layer, and optionally a release liner, wherein the adhesive sealant layer includes at least one elastomer, at least one at 25° C. liquid polyolefin resin, and at least one inert mineral filler. An adhesive sealant composition is used to form the adhesive sealant layer. The sealant device may be used to waterproof a substrate and provide a fully-adhered roof system. The adhesive sealant composition may be used to provide a self-healing roofing membrane.

A sealing device has a waterproofing layer, a functional layer, and an adhesive layer coated on and at least partially covering the first major surface of the waterproofing layer opposite the side of the functional layer. Also, a method produces a sealing device, a method waterproofs a substrate, and the use of the sealing device seals lapped joints formed between overlapping portions of waterproofing membranes and patches breaches in waterproofing membranes.
