The present invention provides a liquid detergent composition comprising an effective amount of an enzyme, 0.001-3% wt of a perfume ingredient, and 0.005-2% wt of an anti-oxidant. It has been found that the storage stability of the enzyme&#x2014;which is preferably a protease&#x2014;can be drastically improved by the addition of the anti-oxidant.

Liquid detergent composition

The present invention provides a liquid laundry detergent composition, comprising surfactant material other than fatty acid soap, an effective amount of a water-soluble dye, an enzyme and from 1% to 20% wt of fatty acid soap having from 12 to 20 C atoms, wherein at least 1% by weight (based on the liquid composition) of the fatty acid soap is unsaturated. In addition said composition comprises from 0.01% to 3% wt of a perfume composition and from 0.001% to 2% by weight of an antioxidant. It was found that the color characteristics of said composition do not deteriorate during storage.

The invention relates to a liquid bleaching composition for catalytically bleaching substrates, especially laundry fabrics, with atmospheric oxygen or air. A liquid bleaching composition is provided comprising an organic substance which forms a complex with a transition metal, the complex catalysing bleaching of a substrate by atmospheric oxygen, and a liquid carrier or solvent, wherein the composition is substantially devoid of peroxygen bleach or a peroxy-based or -generating bleach system. Also provided is a method of bleaching a substrate comprising applying the liquid bleaching composition to the substrate. Also provided is a method of treating a textile by contacting the textile with the liquid bleaching composition, whereby the complex catalyses bleaching of the textile by atmospheric oxygen after the treatment.
