A blower assembly including a scroll having a first airflow deflector nose and a second airflow deflector nose, which are offset relative to each other about a circumference of the scroll. A rotor is housed within the scroll. The first airflow deflector nose is configured to deflect airflow generated by the rotor out of the scroll to a first outlet of the blower assembly. The second airflow deflector nose is configured to deflect airflow generated by the rotor out of the scroll to a second outlet of the blower assembly.

A heating, ventilation and air conditioning system includes a blower unit that has a first interior air intake, a second interior air intake and an exterior air intake. Three doors are moved between open and closed positions to define a recirculation mode, a fresh mode and a partial recirculation mode. As the doors move between their open and closed positions, a variable partial mode and a variable fresh mode are defined.

An airflow deflector including a plurality of spaced apart ribs each extending in a longitudinal direction between a first end and a second end thereof that is generally perpendicular to an airflow stream to be deflected by the airflow deflector such that the plurality of spaced apart ribs induce recirculations of the airflow stream between neighboring ones of the plurality of spaced apart ribs to increase air pressure at an entrance to areas defined between neighboring ribs and restrict the airflow from flowing past the plurality of spaced apart ribs.

A rear HVAC system for a motor vehicle including a housing, an airflow generator, an evaporator, and a heater. The housing is configured to be mounted adjacent to a rear wheel well and a D-pillar of the motor vehicle. The evaporator and the heater are mounted within the housing. Both the evaporator and the heater are between a vehicle floor and a line that is both generally parallel to the floor and tangent to an upper surface of the rear wheel well when the housing is installed in the vehicle.
