According to the invention, the spectral characteristic of the light beam ( ) generated by the light source ( ) depends upon the position in the light beam ( ). Preferably, the light source ( ) comprises opto-electronic elements ( ) only. The light beam comprises at least two light beam segments ( ) having essentially different spectral characteristics. Preferably, one of the light beam segments ( ) is mesotopically tuned. In particular, a first light beam segment ( ) comprises a considerable amount of white or yellow-orange light, and a second light beam segment ( ) comprises a considerable amount of blue-green light.

Vehicle headlamp and a vehicle

An LED lamp has a gear column which is connected between a cap and a substrate. The substrate is provided with a regular polyhedron of at least four planes, the planes having at least one LED which has a luminous flux of at least 5 lm. The gear column also has a heat-dissipater which interconnect the substrate and the lamp cap.

The light beam comprises at least two light beam segments ( &prime;) having essentially different spectral characteristics.

Headlamp and dynamic lighting system for vehicles

The light generator comprises a housing ( ) with a light source in the form of a plurality of LEDs ( &prime;, . . . ), each having a luminous flux of at least 5 lm during operation. Light generator for introducing light into a bundle of optical fibers

A luminaire (,) comprises a housing (,) with a light emission window (,), and at least one lighting module (,) accommodated in the housing for illuminating an object. The lighting module comprises a set of lighting units (,) which each comprise at least an LED chip (,) and an optical system (,) coupled thereto. The lighting units illuminate respective portions of an object. The LED chips supply a luminous flux of at least 5 lm each.

Luminaire

The invention relates to a LED lamp having a gear column which is connected, at its first end, to a lamp cap and, at its other end, to a substrate. The substrate is provided with a regular polyhedron of at least four planes, the planes having at least one LED having a luminous flux of at least 5 lm. The gear column also have heat-dissipating means which interconnect the substrate and the lamp cap. A continuous and regular illumination with a high luminous flux can be obtained using a LED lamp of this type.
