The invention relates to a switching device, in particular an on-load tap changer, having a housing and at least one exchangeable switching module. The switching device (), in particular on-load tap changer, comprises a housing (); an exchangeable switching module (&#x2033;); a fixed contact () arranged inside the housing (); a guide rail () arranged inside the housing (). The switching module (&#x2033;) has a movable contact () that can be releasably connected to the fixed contact (). Pull-out switch assembly with replaceable switch module

An on-load tap changer has a housing, a switching module inside the housing and having a switch and a cooling conduit, an insulating liquid that surrounds the switching module inside the housing, and a cooling circuit comprising a pump, the cooling conduit and a heat exchanger. The interior of the housing and the cooling circuit are hydraulically connected together for flow of the insulating liquid through the cooling circuit and the housing and cooling of the housing with the insulating liquid.
