In accordance with aspects of the inventive concepts, a system and method provide ongoing authentication through processing of data that includes biometric data. Such systems and methods can use, as examples, face recognition and/or voice biometric data, or other biometric data, to identify the user in real-time and thereafter during an ongoing session. In various embodiments, the system can continuously or repeatedly authenticate one or more users using biometric data to control access to information and/or functions in real (or near real) time. The system can be configured to optimize and/or minimize resource consumption associated with the ongoing authentication process.

An embodiment according to the present invention addresses reusability and alignment of content across channels in a multi-channel virtual assistant, by allowing users to define content on one channel and then have the content fully or partially translated for the other channels using a mix of pre-defined static rules, dynamic rules or machine learning. Content translation is provided based on communications channels, and content translation is performed from one to many formats, optionally in real time. Performing content translation using machine learning provides an advantage that as users work, content translation becomes more precise and covers more elements.

A system for processing rules on data elements is described. The system includes a memory queue configured to receive and store a listing of data elements and a rule processing engine configured to apply one or more processing rules to one or more data elements. The rules processing engine further includes a rule condition processing engine configured to apply a condition to a data element and store the data element in the memory queue if the condition is satisfied and a rule action processing engine configured to iteratively perform an action on the elements stored in the memory queue.
