Systems, methods, and computer-readable for cognitive sensor fusion management include obtaining one or more data streams from one or more sensors. Learning algorithms are used for determining whether a combination of the one or more data streams includes sufficient information for achieving a desired outcome, based on context, business verticals, or other considerations. One or more modifications are determined to at least the one or more data streams or one or more sensors based on whether the combination of the one or more data streams includes sufficient information for achieving the desired outcome. In a closed-loop system, feedback from implementing the one or more modifications can be used to update the desired outcome.

Cognitive sensor fusion management

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for context-based transfer and access of data include a producer which receives a request from a consumer to access a data block. The producer verifies whether a context associated with the consumer will allow access the data block, by providing a challenge to the consumer and obtaining a response, the response including a certification that the context associated with the consumer will allow the consumer to access the data block. Upon verifying that the context allows the consumer to access the data block, the producer transfers a data capsule, the data capsule including an encrypted version of the data block and a micro agent for monitoring access to the data block. The micro agent can interact with an operating system at the consumer to allow decryption and local access of the data block upon the data capsule being transferred.

System and method for enforcing context-based data transfer and access

Methods and systems for sensor fusion as a service include receiving a sensor fusion intent descriptive of desired data from a specified environment; determining candidate sensors present in the specified environment that may be used to obtain at least a portion of the desired data; and transforming the sensor fusion intent into a sensor fusion manifest by selecting a plurality of the candidate sensors to obtain respective output data, and by defining at least one action to fuse the respective output data into the desired data, wherein the sensor fusion manifest includes an identification of the selected candidate sensors and the at least one action to fuse the respective output data from the selected candidate sensors into the desired data.

Profile prioritization in a roaming consortium environment may be provided. First, a client device may initiate a network discovery with a network device. Next, the client device may receive in response to initiating the network discovery, a response. The response may comprise an organization identifier and a plurality of response access identifiers corresponding to the organization identifier. A one of the plurality of response access identifiers may be labeled as preferred. Then the client device may determine to access the network based on the organization identifier. The client device may then select, from a plurality of profiles, a profile for accessing the network. The selected profile may have a profile access identifier corresponding to the one of the plurality of response access identifiers labeled as preferred.

Profile prioritization in a roaming consortium environment

A method for generating ad hoc video stream channels is implemented on at least one computing device and includes: receiving a multiplicity of incoming user video feeds, where schedules for the incoming user video feeds are unknown; classifying the multiplicity of incoming user video feeds according to at least a genre; selecting at least one incoming video feed from among the multiplicity of incoming user video feeds for inclusion in at least one video stream channel, where the selecting is according to selection criteria, and the selection criteria are based at least on the classifying; generating at least one outgoing video stream for the at least one video stream channel according to the selecting; and delivering the at least one outgoing video stream to presentation devices.

Autonomously generated video channels

Various embodiments utilize a portable electronic device determining the relative physical location of a connected device and displaying a location indicator on a display of the portable electronic device. This location indicator can 'point' to the connected device and provide an indication as to how far away the connected device is. The portable electronic device can facilitate user interaction with the connected device.

Indicators for relative positions of connected devices

In one embodiment, a device in a network receives a time-slotted channel hopping (TSCH) communication schedule. The TSCH communication schedule is divided into a plurality of macrocells, each macrocell comprising a plurality of TSCH cells. The device receives a packet from a routing protocol child node of the device during a particular macrocell of the TSCH communication schedule that is associated with propagation of the packet through the network. In response to receiving the packet, the device claims a token associated with the particular macrocell that authorizes the device to transmit during one or more cells of the macrocell. The device transmits the received packet to a second node in the network during the authorized one or more cells of the particular macrocell.

A method of detecting periodic activity patterns associated with the viewing of audio video content is described. The method includes: recording activity data in an activity log; suppressing the activity log one or more times to suppress non-relevant activity data thereby producing one or more sets of suppressed activity data; passing the one or more sets of suppressed activity data through a signal processing function to convert the one or more sets of suppressed activity data to one or more frequency responses; and analyzing the one or more frequency responses to detect the periodic activity patterns. Detecting periodic activity patterns

A content viewing estimation system including a module to receive a time measurement of how long at least part of a content item was rendered by an end-user rendering unit and outputted for display to an audio-visual outputting arrangement during a time window, a module to determine user interaction with the end-user rendering unit and/or the audio-visual outputting arrangement, a module to calculate an average content item duration of a plurality of content items rendered by the end-user rendering unit during the time window, and a module to estimate viewing by the user of the at least part content item such that if user interaction was not determined during the time window then time attributed to the viewing of the at least part content item is set to the minimum of a capping limit, the time measurement, and the average content item duration.
