A communication network and a power converter cabinet including a control unit, a power switch, a sensor and wherein the first communication point is connected to the control unit inside the power converter cabinet, and the second communication point is connected to the power switch, and a sensor inside the power converter cabinet. The communication network includes: a first antenna configured to wirelessly transmit/receive in the mm-wave frequency band, and a second antenna configured to receive/transmit wirelessly in the mm-wave frequency band, wherein the first and second communication points are configured to set up a communication link with multiple propagation paths, to send data between different active devices inside the power converter cabinet.

The present application is concerned with a system for transmitting and/or receiving the control and sensing signals between the control units and the power electronic components. One system according to the present application comprises: a transceiver adapted to modulate the communication signal on a communication signal frequency band, and a coupler connected to the power conductor and adapted to couple the modulated communication signal to the power conductor. The present application also concerns a method for transmitting and receiving the control and sensing signals.

A method for operating a converter circuit is specified with the converter circuit having a converter unit with a multiplicity of controllable power semiconductor switches and having an energy storage circuit formed by two series-connected capacitors, in which the controllable power semiconductor switches are controlled by means of a control signal formed from a hysteresis signal vector (x), and the hysteresis signal vector (x) is formed from a difference-phase connection current vector (&#x394;i) by means of a hysteresis regulator, and the difference-phase connection current vector (&#x394;i) is formed from the subtraction of a phase connection current vector (i) from a reference phase connection current vector (i), with the reference phase connection current vector (i) being formed from a difference power value (P), a difference wattless-component value (Q) and a phase flux vector (&#x3c8;). In order to very largely stabilize the switching frequency of the controllable power semiconductor switches, a current correction value (i) is additionally subtracted in order to form the difference-phase connection current vector (&#x394;i), with the current correction value (i) being formed by integration of a phase connection voltage mean value (u), and the phase connection voltage mean value (u) being formed by determining the arithmetic mean value of the phase connection voltages (u) with the reference point of the connection point of the capacitors in the energy storage circuit. A device is also specified, by means of which the method can be carried out in a particularly simple manner.
