The present invention relates to an elongate light () having: an elongate light carrier (), which extends along a longitudinal axis (A), the light carrier () having a contact face () extending along the longitudinal axis (A); an elongate lighting means () with a main radiation direction (H), the lighting means () extending along the longitudinal axis (A) in order to bear against the contact face (); an elongate light guide (), with an end-face input region () facing the lighting means () for coupling in the light emitted by the lighting means (), and also with an output region () for emitting the light coupled in via the input region (); and a spring element (), which is clamped in the light carrier () in such a way as to press the lighting means () against the contact face () and to orient the lighting means () in such a way that the end-face input region () is opposite the lighting means () as viewed in the main radiation direction (H), in order to couple light emitted in the main radiation direction (H) by the lighting means () into the light guide () via the end-face input region ().

Elongate light

The present invention relates to an end cap () for a light strip lamp, having a flat main body () with two opposite flat sides (), the flat sides () having a flat cover side () for covering a front face of a light strip lamp and a coupling side () for coupling to an identical end cap () of a laterally adjacent light strip lamp, the coupling side () having coupling structures (), which are designed such that they can be releasably connected without the use of tools to the coupling structures () of a coupling side () of an identical end cap ().

End cap for a light strip lamp

The lamp component includes a light orienting element having a light incident end, a light output end opposite the light incident end, and a side surface extending between the light incident and light output ends; and a housing configured to position the light orienting element adjacent a light source. The housing is at least partially translucent, and includes at least one sidewall and a main wall facing the light output end. The light orienting element is configured to deflect a fraction of the incident light towards the light output surface to be projected through the main wall as to direct light, and a fraction of the light towards the at least one housing sidewall to be projected as indirect light. The light orienting element is a first part formed by extrusion in a first direction, and the housing is a second part formed by extrusion in a first direction.
