A roll-on applicator device () for distributing a viscous medium on a surface, that has a fitment () and a distributor ball () placed in the fitment () and partially projecting from one end of the fitment, wherein the fitment () has a base element () and a retaining element () that are detachably connected to each other by connection means (), wherein the base element () is provided with support means () for supporting the distributor ball () and with a tubular member () for the connection to a container () and wherein the retaining element () is designed such that it rotatably retains the distributor ball () in the fitment ().
