A method in a communication system, a communication system and an application server embodying the method are disclosed. The method is for communication of information during establishment of a communication session. In the method, additional information is included in a message carrying information regarding a data communication media for a communication session. The additional information regards a floor status of the data communication media in relation to a party of the communication session. The message is sent from the communication system to a user equipment.

Activation of services in a communication system

The present invention discloses a system and a method for performing routing using location information of an IP terminal in a mobile IP telephony network. When a call is originated from an IP terminal to another subscriber it is checked whether location information of the IP terminal is required for the call. In case location information is required, the location information is added to the call setup data. Then, a destination address is determined on the basis of the call setup data and the location information. Finally, the call is routed to the determined destination address.

Method and system of call routing depending on caller location in mobile IP network

The invention provides a system, method, network elements, and computer program products, for providing a supplementary service such as an advice of charge, AoC, service requested by a user equipment at a session set-up or during a session of a communication service. For setting up a session of the communication service, a signalling message may be transmitted or received which signalling message comprises a request for a supplementary service and an indication on whether the session setup is to be suspended until said supplementary service has been provided. When detecting that said setting up the session of the communication service is to be suspended until said supplementary service has been provided, the session setup is suspended until after the requested supplementary service has been provided. The setting up of the session is resumed after determining that said supplementary service has been provided.

System, method, and network elements for providing a service in a communication network

A server for a communication system is disclosed. The server is configured to receive group communication information comprising a group detail indicator. The group detail indicator provides information on at least an identity of a group and a type of the group. The server is further configured to store the group communication information, and to make the group communication information available to predefined entities.

Group details of group services

A method of establishing a conference call in a communication network between a plurality of user terminals each having an identifier. The method comprising receiving a first list of identifiers corresponding to the user terminals with whom the conference call is to be established. At least one of the identifiers represents a second list comprising a plurality of other user terminals each having their own other identifiers. The conference call is established with the user terminals in the first list and the other user terminals represented by the at least one identifier in the first list.
