A co-generation system is provided that includes a heat exchanger that heats water; a heat transfer path connected with the water heat exchanger that transfers heat; a hot water storage tank connected with the water heat exchanger and the water circulation path; a hot water storage water supply apparatus that supplies water in the hot water storage tank to the water circulation path; a water supply path connected with the water circulation path; a water supply apparatus that supplies water to the water supply path; and a hot water supply heat exchanger bypassing apparatus that bypasses the water supplied to the water circulation path from the hot water storage tank through the hot water supply heat exchanger. With the co-generation system, so constructed, effective water boil heat is increased, as supplying the cold water supplied from the water service and the hot water supplied from the hot water storage tank to the hot water supply heat exchanger properly and heat exchanging with the heat medium, such as an anti-freeze solution, passing through the hot water supply heat exchanger.

Co-generation and control method of the same

An exhaust gas heat exchanger for a cogeneration system is disclosed. In the exhaust gas heat exchanger, a heat exchanger cover is arranged around a heat exchanger body such that a primary heat medium passage, through which a heat medium passes, is defined between the heat exchanger cover and the heat exchanger body. In the heat exchanger body, a heat medium tube forming a secondary heat medium passage, through which the heat medium emerging from the primary heat medium passage passes, is arranged. Accordingly, the heat medium primarily absorbs heat from the exhaust gas while passing through the primary heat medium passage, and then secondarily absorbs heat from the exhaust gas while passing through the secondary heat medium passage. As a result, an enhancement in heat exchanging efficiency is achieved.

Exhaust gas heat exchanger for cogeneration system

A method for controlling a cogeneration system is disclosed. The control method determines whether or not the operation load or power load of an air conditioner corresponds to a load requiring driving of a generator, controls the generator to operate when it is determined that the operation load of the air conditioner corresponds to the generator driving load, controls the air conditioner to operate using electric power generated from the generator when the generator operates normally, and controls the air conditioner to operate using commercial electric power when the operation load of the air conditioner is not the generator driving load or when the generator operates abnormally. Accordingly, there are advantages in terms of economy and safety.

Method for controlling cogeneration system

A cogeneration system including a heat pump type air conditioner including an outdoor heat exchanger and an outdoor heat exchanger bypass conduit, and a cogeneration unit including a second outdoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger bypass conduit, second outdoor heat exchanger connecting conduits, and second outdoor heat exchanger bypass conduit to cause the refrigerant to be evaporated in the second outdoor heat exchanger during a heating operation of the heat pump type air conditioner, and to cause the refrigerant to be condensed in the outdoor heat exchanger during a cooling operation of the heat pump type air conditioner, so that the heat pump type air conditioner can provide a constant heating capacity irrespective of a variation in outdoor temperature during the heating operation thereof.

Cogeneration system

A cogeneration system including a pre-heater to pre-heat outdoor air blown toward the outdoor heat exchanger during a heating operation of a heat pump type air conditioner, an auxiliary evaporator to evaporate a refrigerant emerging from the outdoor heat exchanger during the heating operation of the heat pump type air conditioner, and waste heat recovering means to transfer waste heat of the engine to at least one of the pre-heater and the auxiliary evaporator. The cogeneration system exhibits a high energy efficiency.
