A motor vehicle seat () includes a backrest () and a headrest () which has a headrest body () which contains at least one filling material (). The headrest body () is coupled to the backrest () by means of a maintaining element (). The headrest body () can be axially moved automatically with respect to the backrest (), at least in areas of a contact surface between a head of a passenger (A) and the headrest body (). A sliding device () is introduced into at least one section between the maintaining element () and the filling material ().

Motor vehicle seat

The present invention relates to a vehicle seat having a seat part and a backrest, wherein the seat part and the backrest can be adjusted relative to one another by an adjustment mechanism, wherein a base plate which holds the adjustment mechanism is provided, wherein the base plate has at least two passage openings through which the base plate is connected to the seat part by fasteners, wherein one of the passage openings is in the form of an elongate hole.

Vehicle seat

A height- and/or inclination-adjustable head restraint for a vehicle seat includes at least one holding element, a head restraint cushion, a head restraint structure and an inclination-adjustment mechanism that includes at least one latching plate, a toothed profile and an actuating element. The latching plate is arranged on the holding element and, in a locked state of the inclination-adjustment mechanism, engages in a form-fitting and/or frictional manner in the toothed profile, which is arranged on the head restraint structure. The lower end of the head restraint structure is coupled pivotably to the holding element and, upon pivoting of the head restraint about the holding element; in a non-locked state of the inclination-adjustment mechanism, the form-fitting and/or frictional connection between the latching plate and the toothed profile is released and a relative movement is thereby brought about between the latching plate and the toothed profile.

Height- and/or inclination-adjustable head restraint for a vehicle seat

A vehicle seat comprises a backrest, an active headrest, a release device, and an energy store. During normal operating situations of the vehicle seat the energy store is blocked. During an accident, particularly a rear-end accident, the energy store is released for actuation of the active headrest. The energy store is arranged in the active headrest or in the backrest. The backrest includes an actuating device, and a transmission device is arranged between the actuating device and the active headrest.

An actuating system for a head restraint of a vehicle seat is provided. The head restraint includes a part that can be shifted from a comfort position to a safety position, such as in the event of an accident. Limbs are expandable from an initial position as a consequence of pressure loading to bring about a lengthening which can be transmitted to force transmission means. The limbs are connected to one another and/or to fastening means by joints, each having a first and a second joint pin which can be inserted axially into holes to form the joints.

Actuating means for a crash-active head restraint

A backrest (), in particular for a motor-vehicle seat (), has a headrest (), of which at least one part can be displaced from at least one use position towards the head of the occupant into a safety position. Here, an actuating device () is provided which is arranged in the backrest and is operatively connected to a drive device () by means of a mechanical transmission means () for the displacement of at least one part of the headrest. According to the invention, the transmission means () has a first segment () which is assigned to the actuating device () and a second segment (') which is assigned to the drive device (), which segments can be operatively connected to one another by means of a coupling device (). Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle seat which is equipped with said backrest and to an assembly method.

A head restraint for a vehicle seat is provided. The head restraint includes a head restraint subsection and a driving device. The head restraint subsection is movable from a use position to a safety position, while the driving device is configured to move the head restraint subsection from the use position to the safety position. The driving device includes at least two components which are movable with respect to each other under the action of a first force. At least one component has an oblique surface which acts on the other component and is inclined in relation to a direction of the first force. Movement of the at least one component under the action of the first force transmits a second force on the other component in a direction different than the first force.

Actuating element for a crash-active head rest

The backrest of a vehicle seat having a headrest, which may be displaced from an in-use position to a safety position by the effect of a force generation device, and which is fixed, by means of retaining elements extending into the backrest. The retaining elements may be displaced relative to the backrest, under the effect of the force generating device, by means of at least one connector guide, from a connector into a connector side block. The connector slide block is preferably lockable in the connector on the displacement from the in-use position to the safety position. One embodiment includes a rectangular connector slide block which performs a turning movement on the displacement, as a result of which the radial extent of the above relative to the connector is increased thus locking the connector slide block in the connector with a positive or non-positive fit.
