A flow control device () for an HVAC fluid transportation system comprises a flow tube () formed in one piece, a flow measurement system () integrated with the flow tube () and configured to measure a volumetric flow of fluid (&#x3d5;) through the flow tube (), and an electronic circuit () arranged in a fixed fashion on the flow tube () and connected electrically to the flow measurement system (). The flow control device () further comprises a control signal output terminal () attached to the flow tube () and connected to the electronic circuit (). The electronic circuit () is configured to generate and apply on the control signal output terminal () an actuator control signal, using the volumetric flow of fluid (&#x3d5;) measured by the flow measurement system (), for an actuator actuating a valve of the HVAC fluid transportation system () arranged outside the flow tube () of the flow control device ().

An HVAC actuator () comprises a motor (), a motor controller () coupled to the motor (), and a heating apparatus () thermally coupled to the HVAC actuator (). The HVAC actuator () further comprises a condensation controller () coupled to the heating apparatus (). The condensation controller () is configured to monitor at least one condensation parameter, and to control the heating apparatus () using the at least one condensation parameter.

A control adapter for fastening on a HVAC device includes a wireless communication interface for communicating control signals between a remote control device and the control adapter. A wireless near-field communication interface communicates control signals between the control adapter and the HVAC device. A control circuit converts the control signals received from the wireless communications interface into the control signals of the wireless near-field communication interface and converts the control signals received from the wireless near-field communication interface into control signals of the wireless communication interface.

The invention relates to a control apparatus () for an HVAC system (), wherein the control apparatus () has a communication module () for communicating with one or more components of the HVAC system (). A connecting device comprises housing, a board with electrical components, including at least one digital bus connection and an input/output section. It allows outsourcing of analog and digital I/O from a connected device, e.g. an HVAC actuator control unit by decentralizing inputs and outputs.

A DC-motor () actuates a highly-reduced reduction gear of an actuating drive for a flap or valve in order to regulate a gas or liquid volume flow, particularly for heating/ventilation/climatization, or fire or room protection. Current flow in the stator coils (A, B, C) is commutated in a program-controlled manner without integrated position sensors. Algorithms enable counting rotations of rotor () of the DC-motor (). Problems related to the principle of motor rotation speed at low rpm are prevented. The DC-motor () includes a stator () having three stator coils (A, B, C) which extend over 3n stator poles (), and an annular-shaped permanent magnet rotor () having 2m permanent magnet segments with alternating polarity (N, S), a coaxial cup-shaped external rotor () and a coaxial drive shaft (), whereby n and m are whole multiplication factor numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) and are different from each other. Drive shaft () comprises, preferably, a spring () for the automatic return in case of current interruption.
