An exhaust system () for a motor vehicle includes an exhaust gas-purifying device () for purifying exhaust gas () removed from an internal combustion engine with a reducing agent feed (), which is arranged downstream and at a spaced location from the exhaust gas-purifying device () and by which a reducing agent can be introduced into the exhaust system (). A reducing agent-deflecting device () is arranged between the exhaust gas-purifying device () and the reducing agent feed (). The reducing agent-deflecting device () has at least one reducing agent-deflecting element () of a blade-like design.

Exhaust system for a combustion engine

A flexible line segment for the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, with an annularly corrugated or helically corrugated metallic bellows, for exhaust gas flow therethrough, and a line segment arranged upstream in reference to the metallic bellows, with a precipitation device provided in the line section, arranged upstream in reference to the metallic bellows or mounted thereat. The precipitation device is provided for urea derivatives or urea entrained in an edge layer of the exhaust gas flow from an oversaturated edge layer of the exhaust gas flow.

Flexible line segment for the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine

A mixing and/or evaporating device () for an exhaust system () of an internal combustion engine () encloses in the circumferential direction a cross section, through which flow is possible. The device () has two mutually opposite long side walls () and two mutually opposite short side walls (). The short side walls () connect each the two long side walls () to one another. A plurality of guide blades (), which project in the direction of the other long side wall () and are set at an angle in relation to the axial direction (), are arranged at at least one axial end () at at least one long side wall (). Additional guide blades () are arranged at at least one long side wall () at a distance (s) in the axial direction () from an axial end ().

Multistage plate mixer

An exhaust system mixer () mixes a reactant with an exhaust gas flow () and includes a pipe section (), which borders a flow cross section (), through which the exhaust gas flows (), in the circumferential direction (), and which extends in an axial direction () from a first axial side () to a second axial side (), and a plurality of guide blades (), which project from the pipe section () at least on one of the axial sides (), so as to protrude into the flow cross section (). Guide blades () on an axial side, which follow each other in the circumferential direction (), include a first guide blade group (), arranged on the respective axial side (), axially offset in relation to the guide blades () of the second guide blade group (), to reduce a pressure drop.

Mixer for an exhaust system

A flexible line element (), for an exhaust system () of an internal combustion engine (), especially of a motor vehicle, includes a metal bellows (), which is corrugated in a ring-shaped or helical pattern and through which an exhaust gas stream () can flow. The risk of deposition of urea and/or urea derivatives in the metal bellows () is reduced by a conical flow guide body (), through which the exhaust gas stream () can flow, and which tapers in the direction of flow of the exhaust gas stream and which protrudes into an inlet area () of the metal bellows (). The flexible line element () is combined with the flow guide body () integrated therein.

Exhaust system with line element

A mixer/evaporator or an exhaust system () of an internal combustion engine (), includes a carrier () surrounding, in a circumferential direction, a flat cross section of a mixing/evaporating device (), through which exhaust gases flow and which extends at a right angle to the axial direction (). The carrier has opposite side walls, wherein short side walls () connect each long side walls () to one another. Guide blades () project in a direction of the respective opposite long side wall, are set at an angle in relation to the axial direction and are arranged at one of the long side walls at least one axial end (). An axial end of the first long side walls is offset in the axial direction in relation to the axial end of the second long side wall on the same side of the mixing/evaporating device.

Exhaust system with mixing and/or evaporating device

A mixing and/or evaporating device () for an exhaust system () of a combustion engine (), in particular of a motor vehicle, includes a support body (), which encloses a flat cross section through which a flow can flow running transversely to the axial direction () of the device () in the circumferential direction (). The support body () comprises two long side walls () located opposite each other and two short side walls () located opposite each other, wherein the short side walls () each connect the two long side walls () with each other. At least on one long side wall () at least on one axial end (), a plurality of guide blades () is arranged. The guide blades () stand away in a direction of the other long side wall () and are angled relative to the axial direction ().

Mixing and/or evaporating device

A mixing and/or evaporating device () for an exhaust system () of a combustion engine (), in particular of a motor vehicle, includes a support body which encloses a cross section of the device () through which a flow can flow and which runs transversely to the axial direction () of the device () in the circumferential direction. The support body () has at least one guide blade () which extends away transversely to the axial direction (). An improved efficiency is obtained with the guide blade () having a roof-shaped profile (), including two guide surfaces () that are interconnected via a ridge () or apex.

An exhaust gas-treating device () for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, especially of a motor vehicle, which is provided with an insert (), which has a plurality of ducts (), through which parallel flow is possible. The insert has, in an inflow-side, first section (), an oxidation catalyst coating, which forms an oxidation catalytic converter (K). The insert comprises on an outflow-side a second section () with a particle filter (K) with inlet ducts () closed on the outflow side and with outflow ducts () closed on the inflow side after the first section (). Greater integration of a plurality of catalyst components of the exhaust gas-treating device () is possible.
