Front-loading clothes washing machine including a washing tub, a rotating drum contained in the tub and provided with an access opening and a rear wall, and a plurality of internally hollow lifting ribs arranged inside the drum and provided internally with a respective partition wall. The partition wall is in the shape of a substantially planar quadrangle, a side of which coincides with the common side of the inclined walls of the lifting rib, while the opposite side lies on the inner surface of the drum in a roughly intermediate position between the walls. The partition wall divides the inner volume of the respective lifting rib into two chambers that do not communicate with each other, and each one of the inclined walls is provided with at least a first respective aperture and a plurality of respective perforations adapted to let the respective one of the chambers communicate with the inner volume of the drum.

Clothes washing machine comprising a washing tub, a drain pipe provided under said tub and connecting it with a drain pump chamber, said drain pipe comprising a central length and a final length oriented horizontally towards said drain pump chamber, a hydraulic impeller () provided within said drain pump chamber, wherein in correspondence to and below said final length there is arranged an auxiliary filtering chamber connected to said final length via a horizontal aperture provided in the bottom wall of said final length. Centrifugal pump, in particular drain pump for washing machines, comprising a casing () that defines a chamber () within which an impeller formed by a hub () and a disk () provided with blades () is capable of rotating. The solution is very simple and rational; it enables a clogging of the impeller, as it may be caused by the presence of foreign matters and bodies in the washing liquor, to be avoided. A second conduit connects the inner volume of the reservoir with the inner volume of the washing tub through a second pump. As a part of a rinsing phase, the machine is adapted to the rinsing liquor from the tub to the reservoir, spin the washload holding drum at a high revolution speed, empty the tub by draining the liquor extracted from the washload during the high-speed spinning of the drum or subsequently thereto, and transfer the liquor contained in the reservoir back into the tub.

A clothes washing machine is provided with a tank (2) for the recovery of liquids and a transfer conduit (3) which, by way of a first pump (4) disposed in the conduit, connects the lower portion of the tub (1) to the tank. A steam condensation device is provided in a dryer or combination washer/dryer for condensing hot water vapor carried by hot air used to dry laundry in the dryer or combination washer/dryer. The steam condensation device includes a vertically extending tubular casing, at least one condenser conduit extending vertically within and spaced from the casing so as to define an annular space therebetween, and a spiral wall disposed between respective internal and external surfaces of the at least one condenser conduit and the casing. The condensation device is arranged so that hot air circulating through the interior of the rotating basket containing laundry in the machine passes through the interior of the at least one condensor conduit. Thus, water vapor contained in the hot air passing through the interior of the at least one condenser conduit is cooled and consequently condensed.
