A display apparatus includes: a display panel comprising a display area and a pad area; a pad portion in the pad area and comprising a plurality of pad terminals; a driving circuit portion in which a plurality of driving terminals are respectively electrically connected to the plurality of pad terminals; and a displacement preventing portion comprising a first displacement preventing portion between the plurality of pad terminals and a second displacement preventing portion between the plurality of driving terminals and coupled to the first displacement preventing portion.

A curved display device includes a display panel which is curved with respect to a central axis of the curved display device to define a display surface which is curved with respect to the central axis of the curved display device; a first adhesion member attached to an edge area of a bottom surface of the display panel; a mold frame which is curved with respect to the central axis of the curved display device, the mold frame defining a stepped portion on which the display panel is seated; and a second adhesion member attached to a top surface of the stepped portion and to the first adhesion member which is attached to the edge area of the bottom surface of the display panel.

Curved display device and method for manufacturing the same

A curved display device includes a backlight unit which generates light and a display panel which receives the generated light from the backlight unit. The backlight unit includes a light guide plate and is curved. The display panel is disposed on the curved backlight unit and is curved. The curved light guide plate defines a light incident surface thereof and an opposite surface. The light incident surface receives the light generated by the curved backlight unit. The opposite surface faces the light incident surface. A thickness of the curved light guide plate decreases from the light incident surface to the opposite surface.

Curved display device and method of manufacturing the same

A light emitting diode package includes a light emitting diode which emits a first light having a first color; a body member defining a planar part thereof on which the light emitting diode is mounted, and a side part thereof which is extended upward from the planar part, the planar and side parts defining an inner cavity in which the light emitting diode is disposed; and a filling member which fills the inner cavity and includes a base part in which a plurality of first phosphors is dispersed, the plurality of first phosphors absorbing a portion of the first light and generating a second light having a second color different from the first color. The body member which defines the planar and side parts thereof has a third color different color from the second color, and the body member having the third color absorbs light having the second color.
