A catalog application includes data for key indicators for performance measurement of applications. The catalog application comprises data for a large number of key indicators that may be compatible for different application. A monitoring application utilizes data for key indicators to measure performance of external applications. A catalog service interface is instantiated to process requests from the monitoring application to the catalog application. The external applications run in different technical environments and are part of different technical landscapes. A request to provide data for key indicators compatible with a first application is received at the instantiated service interface. The key indicators in the catalog application are filtered based on matching the technical characteristics of the first application with the key indicators' prerequisites. The data for the compatible key indicators is provided through invoking a user interface of the catalog application for display within the measuring application.

Integration of a catalog application with a monitoring application

A method and system for central data querying are provided. A user parameter requesting data is retrieved. A device is determined based upon the user parameter. A query is generated based upon the user parameter. The query is executed in the device to extract the data.

In an embodiment, a method of providing a personalized display of data is presented. In this method, an identity of each of multiple applications for displaying data is transmitted to a user device, such as, for example, a computer or mobile communication device. Selections of more than one of the multiple applications are received from the user device. Configuration data indicating the selected applications are generated and stored. A request for a presentation application is received from the user device. The presentation application is to display the data via execution of the selected applications. In response to the request, the presentation application is generated based on the configuration data, and includes the selected applications. The presentation application is then transmitted to the user device for execution.

A central system receives process data items that have been collected by an agent, identifies a process instance with which each process data item is associated, groups the process data items that are associated with a first process instance into a first group, and generates a reconstruction of the first process instance based on the process data items in the first group. The central system can further use the reconstructed first process instance to model a process. Additionally, the central system can further use the reconstructed first process instance to monitor a process instance.
