A medical device comprising a pressure generating means adapted to deliver a liquid, a sensor adapted to measure a flow resistance, and an implantable member comprising an analyte responsive porous membrane which reversibly changes its porosity subject to changes in analyte concentration occurring in the solution surrounding the implantable member. The analyte may in particular be glucose. The medical device may also be used for drug administration.

Medical device for glucose monitoring or regulation

A pump including a stator, a rotor comprising an axial extension slidably and rotatably mounted at least partially in a rotor chamber of the stator, and at least first and second valves between an inlet and the rotor chamber, respectively between the rotor chamber and an outlet, that open and close as, a function of at least the angular displacement of the rotor. The pump comprises interacting cam elements on the rotor and stator and biasing elements acting on the rotor for applying a force on the rotor in the axial direction of the stator cam elements.

Micropump

A gas viscosity sensor comprises a signal processing circuit and a sensor element, including a gas pressure generating system and a differential pressure measuring system in fluid communication therewith, the differential pressure measuring system comprising a measuring chamber () bounded by a thin membrane (), an inlet-outlet channel or orifice interconnecting the measuring chamber to a source of gas for which the viscosity is to be determined, the inlet-outlet channel or orifice having dimensions adapted to provide resistance to the outflow and inflow of gas in the measuring chamber, and a membrane displacement sensor () adapted to measure a time dependent displacement of the membrane due to pressure variations in the measuring cavity.

A pump system having a pump module () comprising a stator housing () with a chamber (), a rotor () rotatably and axially slidably received in the chamber and comprising a first axial extension () with a liquid supply channel () and a second axial extension with a liquid supply channel (), the first and second axial extensions having different diameters, and first and second sealing rings (), mounted around the first and second axial extensions.
