A film peeling apparatus for peeling a film stuck onto a base comprises a film raising device for raising one end portion of the film and a fluid injection device for sending a jet of fluid to the portion of the film raised by the film raising device, the fluid injection device comprising a fluid injection nozzle for injecting a jet of fluid and a nozzle guide member for guiding the fluid injection nozzle so that the fluid is injected from the fluid injection nozzle directly toward the portion of the film raised.

A plate-like member selecting apparatus has a container for accommodating selected plate-like members, which comprises a flexible and elastic sheet-like member bent in the shape of V or U, and which is provided under a plate-like member transferring path. The side wall of the container can swing when each selected plate-like member abuts thereagainst, and the bottom of the container can accommodate each plate-like member without repulsion or impact.

A laminator for bonding a film onto a substrate is disclosed which comprises a film supply plate for supplying the film along a supply path, a film temporary bonding body and a film temporary bonding edge member for temporarily bonding the film in pressing contact with the substrate. The film temporary bonding edge member is detachably provided on the film temporary bonding body. A first heat insulator is interposed between the film temporary bonding body and the film temporary bonding edge member. The temporary bonding body is detachably provided at a leading end of the film supply path of the film supply plate. A second insulator is interposed between the film supply plate and the film temporary bonding body.

Laminator

A film conveying apparatus for conveying a film by conveyors is provided with a fluid spray mechanism for spraying fluid in a flim discharging direction of the conveyors. A film conveying apparatus is also provided with a container for containing the film conveyed by the conveyors, the container being arranged above a board conveyance path in the board feed side of the film peeling position, with its distance from the film peeling position being small.

A film conveying apparatus comprises first conveyor belts for conveying a film by contacting with one side of the film and a second conveyor belt for conveying the film by contracting with the other side of the film, plurality of the first conveyor belts being arranged with fixed intervals in a crosswise direction of the film being conveyed crossing the conveyance direction, the second conveyor belt being disposed between the first conveyor belts.

A laminator is disclosed in which a cutter unit is provided so that a cutter is moved across the direction of feed of a continuous thin film to cut off the film to a prescribed size and the film cut off by the cutter unit is laminated on a substrate. A shock absorber for absorbing a shock which takes place when the movement of the cutter of the cutter unit is stoped is provided at a prescribed portion near the stopped position of said cutter or near the prescribed portion of the body of said laminator.

A film raising device for raising a film, applied to a film peeling apparatus, comprises a film press member for pressing the film, a supporting member for supporting the film press member slidably and a spring member for urging the film press member in a direction close to the film, the spring member being mounted on the supporting member.

A laminator for cutting a continuous thin film in a predetermined size and laminating same over a substrate is disclosed which comprises a stationary laminator body; a thin film supply member for supplying the continuous thin film to the substrate; a temporary bonding member for temporarily bonding a leading end of the continuous thin film within a pathway of thin film supply; and a support member for suppporting the thin film supply member and the temporary bonding member in such a manner that the thin film supply member and the temporary bonding member are movable toward or away from the substrate. The support member is mounted on the stationary laminator body. The laminator also includes a cutter for cutting the continuous thin film in a predetermined size. The cutter is secured to the laminator body in an area near the pathway of thin film supply between the thin film supply member and the substrate.

A pallet stocker for a printer in which the pallets, containing film for printing are stacked in a column in pallet supports. To access a given pallet, the higher pallet supports are raised out of the way and the remaining pallets are raised so that a suction arm can remove the top exposed pallet from a fixed level.

A film peeler for peeling off a film sticking to a base is used to peel off part of the film sticking to the base, to make that part of the film thus peeled off adhere to a peel direction setting plate and to discharge the film with a film carrying device. The face of the peel direction setting plate where film adheres is formed with a conductive member. The conductive member is provided on an insulating material.

An end sensor for detecting the end of a thin film stuck to a base plate such as may be used in a printed circuit board manufacturing apparatus. The sensor includes an electoconductive contact member, preferably shaped as a rod or plate, having a tip oriented in a direction at an acute angle to a direction of conveyance of said base plate so as to contact a surface of said base plate and a surface of the thin film. The sensor may be either of the electrostatic capacity type or of the electrical resistance type.

End sensor

A pull-raising member and pull-raising unit for peeling a thin film from a base plate such as a printed circuit board or the like having an improved average throughout rate. The pull-raising member includes a plurality of pull-raising blades disposed substantially parallel to an end of the thin film. In the pull-raising unit in which the pull-raising member is employed, an elastic member, which is employed to bring the pull-raising blades of the pull-raising member into contact with the base plate, is interposed between the pull-raising member and an attaching member to slide the pull-raising member in such directions as to move into and out of contact with the base plate.
