The present invention relates to compositions, methods and kits for the treatment of fibrosis. In particular, the compositions, methods and kits are particularly useful, but not limited to, the treatment of cardiac fibrosis. The invention provides a method of treating fibrosis in an individual comprising administering an inhibitor of insulin-regulated aminopeptidase (IRAP), thereby treating fibrosis.

Fibrotic treatment

The present disclosure relates generally, but not exclusively, to compounds and their use in therapy, to compositions and agents comprising said compounds, to methods of treatment using said compounds, and their use in the manufacture of medicaments. The disclosure further relates to inhibitors of IRAP and their use in the treatment or prevention of Alzheimer's disease and the treatment and prevention of memory and cognitive disorders.

4H-pyran compounds as insulin-regulated aminopeptidase (IRAP) inhibitors

The present invention relates to a method for the treatment of fibrosis, in particular cardiac fibrosis, comprising the administration of an inhibitor of insulin-regulated aminopeptidase (IRAP). Preferable the IRAP inhibitor is chosen from the group including HFI-419, HA-08, AL-40, HFI-437, Val-Tyr-Ile-His-Pro-Phe (otherwise known as angiotensin IV or ANG IV), c[Cys-Tyr-Cys]-His-Pro-Phe, and c[Hcy-Tyr-Hcy]-His-Pro-Phe.

The present invention relates to inhibitors of insulin-regulated aminopeptidase (IRAP) and methods for inhibiting same, as well as compositions comprising said inhibitors. In particular, the inhibitors of the present invention may be useful in therapeutic applications including enhancing memory and learning functions.

The invention relates to neuroactive peptides or analogues thereof, having at least one of the biological activities of angiotensin IV, and which comprise the sequence Leu-Val-Val-Tyr-Pro-Trp-Thr-Gln-Arg-Phe, to methods of modulating neuronal activity, and to pharmaceutical composition thereof.
