A high-pressure fuel system including a housing having first and second high-pressure bodies (), which contact one another at a contact face. A high-pressure chamber in the housing passes through the contact face, and at least intermittently a high fuel pressure is present in the chamber (). A wall part having a longitudinal axis surrounds the housing at least in the region of the contact face, so that a leak fuel chamber () is formed between the wall part and the housing which chamber is sealed off from the outside.

A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines, having a housing having first and second bodies, which contact one another at least indirectly, each by a respective contact face and are pressed against one another by a screw sleeve. With a female thread the screw sleeve engages a male thread of the first body and with a pressure face the screw sleeve rests on a contact face of the second body, and the screw sleeve is embodied at least approximately cylindrically and surrounds the two bodies in the region of the contact faces. The screw sleeve, on its outer jacket face and over a majority of its length, has an outer contour that can be engaged by a screwing tool, so that with the screwing tool, a tangential force can be exerted on the screw sleeve.

Fuel injection pump with speed governor

A speed governor for fuel injection pumps of internal combustion engines in which part of an oscillation damper member, in the form of a capsule, is disposed between a drive shaft and a flyweight adjuster; two claws of a support that receives the flyweights of the centrifugal adjuster and two claws of a coupling element connected to the drive shaft. The two claws are connected to one another by way of a segmented type buffer element, all of which protrude into the capsule. The claws of the coupling element protrude into the open part of the capsule, while the claws of the support protrude into the capsule through openings in the capsule bottom. For the sake of greater strength of the capsule, the openings are embodied in closed form according to the invention.

Speed governor for fuel injection pumps of internal combustion engines

A centrifugal speed governor including a control capsule. The control capsule includes a face-end part which is interchangeable and always has the same thickness (d). To enable making adjustments and to compensate for tolerances, the face-end has a set of indentations that can be made with various heights, in such a way that a middle part of the face-end protrudes outward, as viewed from a direction of the control capsule.

Control capsule for a centrifugal speed governor

A speed governor for internal combustion engines, having a centrifugal speed transducer serving to govern the speed, acting counter to the force of governor springs, generating a speed-dependent adjusting travel of a governor sleeve, and equipped with flyweights, which transducer acts via the governor sleeve and a governor lever upon a fuel quantity adjusting device governor rod of the fuel injection pump. The governor sleeve comprises a first, inner drag member part and a second, outer drag member part, between which two drag springs are coaxially disposed, of which one drag spring is operative in only one direction of axial motion.

The device has a scanning member, adjustable in relation to the rpm, for the determination of the full load injection amount and a support attachable to a base and holding a contour disk in a predetermined position, the latter serving as a stop for the scanning member. The support can be attached with the aid of a holding element in such a way, that the first adjustment position of the support equipped with the contour disk is permanently fixed. Even after the support has been removed, its renewed fixing in the first adjustment position is assured (FIG. 3).

Device for fuel injection pumps

A control device for diesel-injection internal combustion engines, whose hydraulically activated adjusting member moves the regulating rod of the fuel injection pump in the 'stop' direction when the discharge of the hydraulic medium is blocked by a magnetic valve, and simultaneously serves as an arbitrarily engageable full-load or delivery rate reducing stop for the regulating rod. The control device includes a first electromagnet, which activates the valve member of the magnetic valve, and a second electromagnet, whose control member limits the adjusting movement of the adjusting member, which can be controlled by the valve member of the first electromagnet, to a position that serves as the full-load or lower rate stop for the regulating rod of the injection pump, when the second electromagnet is engaged. This limitation takes place mechanically or by opening a return line, which determines the position of an adjusting piston that is connected with the adjusting member.

Control device for diesel-injection internal combustion engines

A centrifugal rpm governor for fuel injected motor vehicles, in which the control stroke, which is detected by a lever controlled follower on an adapting surface, is enlarged for a more precise control of the adaptation. A translated shift lever is used as the control lever, which is coupled with the governor adjusting member and the lever carrying the follower. To improve the quality of the governor, the shift lever engages an adapting lever, which carries the follower and which is arranged nearly parallel to the intermediate lever. By means of an adjusting member, which is provided with an adapting control and retraction spring, and which is separated in the governor and adapting sleeve, the use of the governor as an idling as well as a maximum rpm governor is made possible.

Centrifugal rpm governor for internal combustion engines

A centrifugal force speed governor for fuel injected internal combustion engines having at least a negative adjustment capability. In such a centrifugal force speed governor the following structural components are included: speed responsive structure; at least one adaptation spring; an adjustment member; an intermediate lever; a yield support; a control element; a stop; an energy storing structure; and a setting lever having a pin mounted thereto. The adjustment member is coupled to the speed responsive structure, the adaptation spring, the control element and through the control element to the yield support, while the setting lever engages, with its pin, the intermediate lever, the control element and the energy storing structure. When the adjustment member is displaced by the speed responsive structure and under the regulation of the adaptation spring, a displacement of the intermediate lever via the control element and the setting lever pin occurs. This displacement of the intermediate lever is transferred to a fuel supply rate adjustment member of a fuel injection pump to which the intermediate lever is coupled, producing a negative adjustment of the fuel supply rate adjustment member, i.e., an adjustment which is in the direction of increasing fuel supply as the angular speed of the governor increases.
