An air deflection device of a motor vehicle includes an air deflection element and a displacement kinematic system. The air deflection element is displaceable by the displacement kinematic system from an extended deflection position, in which the air deflection element with a deflection surface in a front region of the air deflection element in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle diverts an airflow hitting the air deflection element in an underbody region in a forward direction of travel of the motor vehicle, into a retracted position. The air deflection element is displaceable by the displacement kinematic system rearwards in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle and upwards in a vertical direction of the motor vehicle and is pushable back in a direction of the retracted position in an event of an obstacle-related force component acting on the air deflection element in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle.

A front module for a passenger vehicle is disclosed. The front module includes an adapter element via which a panel part of the front module is supported on a front module structure arranged behind it. An adjustable covering device of a cooling opening of a cooling device of the passenger vehicle is integrated into the adapter element.

A supporting framework of a rear cover may be pivoted up about a front transverse axis and a rear transverse axis, of a rear compartment in a bodywork of a passenger vehicle having a fold-away roof, the rear compartment being used for accommodating a roof or roof part and luggage. Due to a special kinematic arrangement of the supporting framework, the rear cover executes a lifting movement before it pivots about the rear transverse axis.

A motor vehicle having a front roof region which has a roof opening which may be closed by a sliding convertible top, having a rear roof region which includes roof columns connected to one another via a body crossmember, and having sliding guidance of the sliding convertible top along lateral guides of the front and rear roof regions, the sliding convertible top being guided roughly horizontally rearwardly in the front roof region and so as to be lowered downwardly into a stowage position in the rear roof region by the guides. The guides in the rear roof region are arranged on a side of the roof columns which faces the interior space of the motor vehicle, the sliding convertible top being guided in front of the body crossmember of the rear roof region between the roof columns.

A convertible is provided with a top structure that has at least one top part and a rear window part. The structure is stowable in an open position in the rear area of the vehicle beneath a rear lid and at least partially in a trunk. In the top structure, the rear lid is articulated laterally in each case by a multilink articulation device with a first forward pivoting device by at least one articulation point with an articulation lever. Two auxiliary frames are mounted on the body in the rear area of the vehicle behind the first pivot device at a pivot point. At least one of the two auxiliary frames is connectable with the vehicle body by a releasable locking member and a latching device. The rear lid is connected with a vehicle body in the rear area for a top stowage function by a second rear pivoting device and a releasable latching device. The rear lid, articulation lever, and auxiliary frame together form a four-link mechanism with their articulation and pivot points.

A lowerable rear window that can be convex or bent for a folding roof of a vehicle that has lateral C-pillars is provided for a passenger vehicle. The rear window is designed as a separate part and is locked in the closed state to the folding roof. The rear window has control levers on each side. The rear window is separated from the C-pillars and the folding roof by the rotary movement of the control levers and can be stowed behind a tank of the vehicle.
