A flat vehicle body component made of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic has at least one interconnecting web that protrudes from the flat vehicle body component and that is made entirely of the matrix material epoxy resin. A mounting part at least partially envelops the interconnecting web in a force locking manner, so that the mounting part is clamped securely on the interconnecting web. The mounting part has at least one hole that can be used for fastening another component. An additional component may be fastened in the hole in a conventional manner, so that the carbon fiber reinforced plastic component does not need corresponding holes. The interconnecting web may be integrally molded on the vehicle body component during its manufacture so that practically no additional engineering effort is needed.

A loading floor for a cargo space of a vehicle includes a section which is fixed to the vehicle, cannot be displaced and, viewed in the driving direction, is arranged in the front in the cargo space. Another section is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The two sections each extend over the entire width of the cargo space. The displaceable section is displaceable over the section fixed to the vehicle. In its most rearward position viewed in the driving direction, the displaceable section may be lowered into the cargo space so that it adjoins the section fixed to the vehicle flush with the surface.

A load-bearing rail is provided for the cargo space of a motor vehicle, which is used for accommodating a load-bearing eyelet that can be guided therein in a movable and lockable manner. To provide a load-bearing rail for the cargo space of a motor vehicle, which may assume additional functions in order to both keep the weight low and to reduce the number of parts and thus to lower the cost of production, the load-bearing rail is provided with a bracket, which sticks out laterally and which serves as a support for a floor of the cargo space.

A covering for a gap between a rear seatback and a baggage compartment covering in a vehicle which has no components permanently connection to the rear seatback is provided. The covering is implemented to slide past the front edge of the baggage compartment covering, and thus covers the gap in each position of the rear seatback. The covering has a covering flap, a hinge and a restoring device. The covering flap is linked to the front edge of the baggage compartment covering or to a hinge support attached to the baggage compartment covering using the hinge and projects forward toward the seatback. The restoring device generates an opposing force, which must be overcome by the seatback to pivot the covering flap out of the at least approximately horizontal base position over the gap.

Protection device for a motor vehicle interior includes a flexible flat article that is movably mounted between a compact, deposited rest position and at least one extracted protection position through the use of a guidance device. The guidance device is designed so that the flat article can be moved between a first, roughly horizontally extracted protection position and a second, roughly vertically extracted protection position. The device is generally used in a luggage area of a vehicle.
