A breaker mechanism for an electrical circuit breaker is disclosed, the breaker mechanism including a spring, a latching mechanism and an actuating element, with which a breaker shaft of the electrical circuit breaker is actuated for breaking (OFF position) or making (ON position) the electric current. In an embodiment, the actuating element is actuated in the direction of the ON position when making the electric current, and the spring is thereby tensioned. Further, the latching mechanism releases the energy of the spring for actuating the breaker shaft of the electrical circuit breaker when the ON position is reached.

Breaker mechanism for an electrical circuit breaker and electrical circuit breaker with such a breaker mechanism

A switching unit for an electrical switching device, in particular an electrical circuit breaker, is disclosed. The switching unit includes a switching lock with a switching mechanism and a rotor housing with a contact arm disposed therein for opening and closing contacts during a rotation of the rotor housing about a rotation axis. In an embodiment, at least one lever apparatus is functionally connected at its upper end by way of the switching mechanism and at its lower end by way of a connecting pin to a face of the rotor housing.

Switching unit for an electrical switching device

A rotor housing of an electrical switching device, in particular a compact circuit breaker, is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the rotor housing is embodied to mount a moveable contact arm bridge and includes a first and a second rotor housing element, which can be connected in a form-fit manner to one another and which can surround the contact arm bridge at least in sections when in the connected state. An electrical switching device is also disclosed, in particular a compact circuit breaker, including a moveably mounted contact arm bridge, an opening mechanism and a rotor housing of this type for mounting the moveable contact arm bridge.

Rotor housing of an electrical switching device and electrical switching device

A circuit breaker includes a latching mechanism including a switching mechanism operatively connected to a tensioning element, and an unlatching mechanism by which, in response to a tripping signal, the tensioning element can be transferred from a tensioned state into an at least substantially relaxed state. The tensioning element is indirectly coupled to a tension lever which can be locked or tripped as a function of a position of a blocking pawl of the unlatching mechanism and which includes a blocking mechanism by which, in an OFF position of the latching mechanism in which the switch is open and the tensioning element is tensioned, tripping of the tension lever is prevented despite a tripping signal. The blocking mechanism of the tension lever includes a rocker arm which is fastened movably on the tension lever.

Circuit breaker latching mechanism

A switching apparatus for an electric switch, in particular an electric circuit breaker, including a switching head with a grip section, and a switching frame connected to the switching head. In an embodiment, a bearing end of at least one spring element is mounted on the switching frame on at least one bearing device. The switching head for the bearing end of at least one spring element includes at least one positioning depression on the side of the switching head opposite to the grip section, which is embodied for a lateral positioning of the bearing end.

Switching apparatus

A switching device include at least two switching poles. Each of the switching poles has one current path and one switching contact system for opening and closing the current path, wherein a movable contact arrangement of the switching contact system of the switching poles has an integral switching shaft segment, formed from insulating material, which bears a contact lever arrangement and in which the switching shaft segments of adjacent switching poles are connected by way of at least two connecting branches; so as to form the switching shaft. The connecting branches extending at a distance parallel to the axis of rotation and are formed from corresponding connecting elements. In at least one embodiment, all of the connection elements of the at least two connecting branches are formed by first sections of the integral switching shaft segments, which bear the contact lever arrangements.

Multipole electrical switching device

An electrical switching device includes a switching mechanism, a housing element, a cover element and a test button, which is movable between a non-actuated position and an actuated position. When the test button is moved from the non-actuated position into the actuated position, the switching mechanism disconnects at least one moveable contact from at least one fixed contact of the switching mechanism. Further, a blocking element is movable between a first position and a second position, so that the blocking element, when the cover element is closed, is held by the cover element in the first position against a pre-tensioning force in the direction of the second position. Further, when the cover element is opened, the blocking element moves the test button from the non-actuated position into the actuated position.

Electrical switching device, especially circuit breaker

A circuit breaker includes a latch including a switching mechanism for opening and closing a switching contact operatively connected to a tensioning element, and an unlatching mechanism by which, on the basis of a tripping signal, the tensioning element can be changed from a tensioned to an at least largely untensioned state, thereby opening the switching contact. In an embodiment, the tensioning element is indirectly linked to a tensioning lever having a locating surface on which a locking pawl of the unlatching mechanism bears in the tensioned state of the tensioning element. The locating surface is curved in the direction of the locking pawl and is movably disposed relative to the tensioning lever.

Latch for a circuit breaker

A switching unit for an electrical switching device, in particular for an electrical power circuit breaker, is disclosed and includes a breaker mechanism with an operating lever and a switching mechanism which can be actuated by the operating lever. In at least one embodiment, at least one breaker assembly board is included, onto which the breaker mechanism is fixed. The at least one breaker assembly board includes at least one positioning lug which is designed for positioning the switching unit in a housing of the electrical switching device.

A circuit breaker is disclosed, in particular for low voltages, having a switch shaft and a contact lever rotationally mounted and extending transverse to the longitudinal axis of the switch shaft and protruding out of the switch shaft, the shaft carrying a movable contact on a side of the outer contour of the contact piece, and including a recess on the opposite side of the outer contour thereof for suspending a pin having a force applied thereto on both sides of the contact lever by way of one spring each, each applying a torque to the contact lever in the closing direction. The two springs each include a cover element extending along the spring and each disposed between the spring and the arc formed between the contact pieces when the circuit breaker is opened.

Circuit-breaker, in particular for low voltages

An electric switch is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the switch includes a rotor housing; at least one electric contact arm, rotatably mounted in the rotor housing and being pivotable between an on-position and an off-position as well as relative to the rotor housing; and at least one intermediate part which, in a locking position, locks the pivotable contact arm with the rotor housing and, in the event of a relative rotation between the pivotable contact arm and the rotor housing, is moved away from the predefined locking position.
