A heating device for heating a yarn, in particular in a texturing machine. The heating device comprises a thin-walled heating tube, which can be evenly heated on its circumference by a heating jacket. Fitted within the peripheral wall of the heating tube is an insert, which forms a yarn channel extending between a yarn inlet and a yarn outlet for guiding the yarn. The insert is formed by a special section rail that is open along one long side, and fitted with its opposite long side to the wall of the heating tube. As a result, the yarn channel is formed between the open long side of the special section rail and the wall of the heating tube, so that it is possible to supply heat to the yarn channel directly via the wall of the heating tube.

Heating device for heating a yarn

A heating device for heating at least one advancing yarn in a texturing machine, wherein the body of the heating device defines an elongate heating channel. The heating channel accommodates an exchangeable support which mounts a plurality of yarn guides which are arranged inside the heating channel for forming a plurality of adjacent yarn guide tracks for guiding a plurality of yarns in such a manner that the yarns advance in a yarn advancing plane extending at a predetermined distance from the bottom wall of the heating channel.

Yarn heating device

A yarn heating apparatus for use in a yarn false twisting machine, which has a heated axial channel in which the yarn advances along a zigzagged path. To guide the yarn in the axial channel, yarn guides are provided, which are mounted to a generally U-shaped sheet metal rail which is removably received in the axial channel. The U-shaped rail has a base and side strips which lie flat against the bottom wall and side walls of the channel, and the yarn guides are mounted to a rail by holding elements which include an opening in the rail and a projection on the yarn guides which extend through the opening so as to engage the wall of the channel. The yarn guides may be fabricated from a ceramic material, or include a ceramic coating.

Heating apparatus for an advancing yarn

A heating device for heating an advancing yarn, which has a groove in which the yarn advances along a zigzag line. To advance the yarn in the groove, yarn guides are provided, which are arranged spaced apart from each other on a common carrier so as to form a unitary structural unit. The structural unit is inserted on the bottom of the groove, and rests against the side walls of the groove. The yarn guides are configured as pins.

A yarn heating apparatus which is adapted for use in a yarn false twisting machine. The heating apparatus includes an elongate heating surface, and a plurality of yarn guide members mounted in a longitudinally spaced-apart arrangement along the length of the heating surface, for guiding an advancing yarn therealong in a laterally zigzagged path of travel which is adjacent but spaced from the heating surface.
