The invention relates to a method for controlling access to a first network, comprising receiving, by a first network access device of the first network, an access request from a visiting user device, determining, by the first network access device, if the visiting user device was granted an access to the first network, if the visiting device has not been granted an access to the first network, determining if there is a second network access device that granted the visiting user device an access to a second network and the second network access device is linked to the first network access device, and if the second network access device exists, granting the visiting user device an access to the first network by the first network access device.

Methods, apparatus, and system for controlling access to a local network

In an Internet interface device such as a gateway managing a local network, a processor obtains a packet received from a device via a local network interface. The processor can determine whether or not the packet originates from a device in the local network deemed to be part of a particular group. The processor can also determine if the packet is addressed to an internet domain for which it stores identifying information in memory. In this case, the processor inspects the packet in search of a cookie. In case no cookie is found, the packet is output as is; if a cookie is found, the processor modifies cookie information in the packet by inserting a cookie specific to the Internet interface device, which results in a modified packet that then is output through the internet interface. Using the original cookie and the added cookie, it is possible to link cookies sent from different devices in the local network.

Device and method for data packet processing

A device for immersive visual representations to a user of virtual scenes, inside a helmet enabling head movements, receives information related to positions of the user's eyes with respect to the helmet, determines visual generation parameters of the virtual scenes in function of that information, and provides those parameters for carrying out the immersive visual representations in the helmet based on those parameters. The device further determines the visual generation parameters so as to spatially adjust continuously the representations of the virtual scenes in function of the positions of the user's eyes. An individual head equipment comprises such a device, a helmet, at least one visual generation apparatus, and one or more sensor(s) providing the positions of the user's eyes.

A device is dedicated to controlling access to wireless communications local area networks having a local coverage area included in a main coverage area of a main communications network equipped with mobile communications device positioning means. The device having management means connected to the positioning means and adapted i) to compare the positions of at least some of the mobile devices to those of the local areas, in order to select the primary identifiers of the mobile devices substantially positioned in said local areas, and ii) to send a messaging server of the main network instructions including the primary identifier of each mobile device selected, in order for it to send them a message telling their users that they can connect to the local area network in whose local area they are placed.
