An actuating device for calibrating torque/angle wrenches encompassing a torque measuring system, includes at least a means for accommodating the torque/angle wrench, a torque actuator for applying a torque to the torque/angle wrench, and a torque sensor for detecting the torque. Provision is made for a rotation angle measuring system for rotating the torque measuring system in such a manner that a rotation of the torque/angle wrench about a rotation angle can be measured in addition to the measuring of a torque in the torque/angle wrench.

Actuating device for calibrating torque/angle wrenches

The invention relates to a torque sensor for calibrating screwing tools such as dynamometric keys or impact screw drivers. A torque sensor for calibrating screwing tools has an inner body defining an axis with respect to which a torque is to be measured. The inner body has a seat for engaugement of a screwing tool to be calibrated. An outer annular body is held stationary. This outer annular body is coaxial with the inner body and is connected therewith through radial webs of a first type and through radial webs of a second type. The first type webs have relatively large widths circumferentially but have relatively small axial dimensions. The second type webs are relatively narrow circumferentially but have relatively large axial dimensions. The torque sensor further comprises torsion measuring elements attached to said first type webs for measuring torsional deformation due to torques exerted on said inner body.

Torque sensor for calibrating screwing tools

The invention relates to a testing device for measuring torques with a sensor for generating electrical signals in response to exerted torques, and signal processing means, to which the electrical signals are applied and which provide measuring values of the exerted torque. The invention provides a plurality of measuring heads, which either may have different measuring ranges or may be adapted to different tools to be tested. Each of these measuring heads has its own signal processing means. The signal processing means are calibrated in the same way, such that the torque measuring data of different measuring heads can be compared with each other. When calibrating a measuring head, the individual signal processing means can also be adjusted to take individual non-linearities of the torque sensors into account. The measuring heads can then simply be connected in parallel with the display or evaluation means. If a torque is exerted on anyone of the measuring heads, this torque will automatically be displayed or evaluated with the correct calibration.
