This invention relates to an axial fan housing having a metallic shielding grating covering an air passage opening, wherein the grating is formed with a series of vane-like guide bars arranged in two or more concentric circular series. The number of guide bars in each circular concentric series increases from the radially inner series to the radially outer series of guide bars.

Axial ventilator housing

This invention relates to a diagonal fan with a truncated cone shaped hub (4a) of the fan wheel (4) and a truncated cone shaped air housing (2). The angle of the truncated cone of the hub (4a) and of the truncated cone of the air housing (2) are relatively small, the outlet cross section (15b) of the flow channel (15) is slightly narrower than the inlet cross section (15a), and the exhaust direction (23) of the flow channel (15) retains these angles, i.e. it is not deflected by any additional deflector walls.

An axial flow fan for ventilating electrical and electronic equipment includes a brushless, DC external rotor-type central drive motor. The stator is supported by a bearing tube formed of plastic, which is connected together with a mounting flange to form a single piece.

Miniaturized direct current fan

The invention relates to an axial fan with an essentially cylindrical outer housing and with a fan wheel which rotates therein and the hub of which is located on the rotor of an electric drive motor, the stator of the drive motor being held by webs extending on the delivery side relative to the outer housing. The vanes of the axial fan are radially twisted and possess a forward curvature with a camber varying from the hub cross-section to the outer cross-section. In order to achieve a pressure increase, at the same time with a reduction of the operating noise, the vanes have in the hub region a cross-section designed for a low flow per unit volume and small pressure increase, but in the outer region a cross-section designed for higher values of flow per unit volume and pressure increase.

Axial fan with a cylindrical outer housing

An axial flow fan for ventilating electrical and electronic equipment includes a brushless, DC external rotor-type central drive motor. The stator is supported by a bearing tube formed of plastic, integrally molded with a mounting flange. In one embodiment, the fan casing forms part of the integral plastic molding.

The invention relates to a miniature axial fan particularly of an axially compact construction, having a central motor driving a rotor disk with a housing surrounding the rotor disk in which an interior housing wall on the inflow side is cylindrical and extends past the axial center of the housing and then this cylinder wall expands outwardly to the outlet side of the housing to produce an enlargement of the flow cross-section. The housing has webs extending inwardly from the outlet side of the housing that carry the central driving motor with the rotor disk. A number of blades are mounted on the rotor disk which numbers differs from the number of webs.

Miniature axial fan

A fan is disclosed comprising an electric drive motor having a shaft with an impeller coaxially disposed thereon, the impeller configured to suck axially and to blow with radial directional components and including a hub which is turned down over the motor, the hub having a rearward broad end that is turned away from the flow and presenting an outer generated surface that is symmetrical in rotation with reference to the motor axis, the outer generated surface being widened like a funnel in the direction of flow and inwardly defining an annular flow passage, and wherein blades are fastened to the hub along the generated surface. Further, in the disclosed fan the outer edges of the blades extend along a surface of rotation that is coaxial to the axis of the motor, the surface of rotation being constantly widened in the flow direction like a funnel, the widenings of the generated surface and the surface of rotation at least preponderantly having an opening angle that is less than 90.degree., the generated surface and surface of rotation being continuous and wherein the flow cross section in the flow passage between the surface of rotation and the generated surface increases in the direction of flow.

An axial-flow fan comprising a fan wheel surrounded by a casing, the casing having a cylindrical flow passage in its axial central portion which is broadened at least toward the exhaust side by way of corner pockets into a regular multi-corner profile circumscribing the diameter of the fan wheel. The hub of the fan wheel is provided on the inlet side with an annular surface that reduces the outer diameter of the hub in the form of a conical configuration that faces the incoming air and which extends at least over one-third of the entire axial length of the hub.

Axial flow fan

An axial-flow fan is disclosed which comprises a fan wheel and a housing casing surrounding said fan wheel, the fan wheel having a hub with a diameter which is at least half as large as the inner diameter of the housing casing and wherein the housing casing is cylindrical in the axial central plane and is broadened at least toward the exhaust side by way of corner pockets into a square profile circumscribing the diameter of the fan wheel. The hub of the fan wheel is provided on the inlet side with an annular surface which extends approximately over one-third of the entire axial length of said hub and which has a conical configuration toward the end face.

The blower comprises a drive motor having a shaft stub and a motor housing, a fanwheel including a hub fitted with fan blades, said hub being mounted on the shaft stub of the drive motor, a fanwheel housing surrounding the fanwheel without contacting said fanwheel and being provided with recesses for the inward flow and outward flow, a flanged surface associated with the motor housing, said flanged surface projecting on the outward flow side beyond the fanwheel toward the inward flow, said fanwheel housing being provided with support legs distributed about the circumference of the fanwheel in the vicinity of the outward flow, said legs delimiting recesses located between them for the outward flow and being mounted by their soles on said flanged surface means associated with the motor housing with fastening means.
