A bearing including a bearing ring having an annular base and a plurality of gear teeth integrally formed with the annular base. Each gear tooth of the plurality of gear teeth includes a first flank surface extending substantially radially from the annular base, a top land surface extending substantially in the axial direction, and a chamfered surface between the top land surface and first flank surface. The chamfered surface includes a first arc with a first radius in a range of 0.1 to 0.15 times the gear module of the bearing ring. The first arc has a point of tangency with the first flank surface. The chamfered surface has length P extending in the radial direction between the point of tangency and the top land surface, and P is in the range of 0.1 to 0.15 times the gear module of the bearing ring.

Bearing assembly of large diameter or of the slewing type, including an inner ring and an outer ring, at least one sealing ring with an axis installed on one of the inner and outer rings, for sealing a gap between the inner and outer rings and comprising: a lip portion designed in rubbing contact with the other of the inner and outer rings, a root portion at least partly engaged with an interference fit inside a holding recess arranged on a stabilizing surface of the one of the inner and outer rings, the root portion having a main lip and at least one secondary lip, the lips applying a contact pressure inside the holding recess in order to anchor the root portion on the one of the inner and outer rings, characterized in that the holding recess comprises two blocking grooves inside which the main lip is engaged with a contact pressure.

Bearing assembly with an improved sealing ring

This method is for replacing sealing elements on a rolling bearing assembly comprising a rotatable element, a fixed element, and at least one bearing mounted between the rotatable element and the fixed element, at least one used sealing element being rotatably fastened to at least one of the rotatable element and the fixed element and having at least one sealing lip adapted to lay on a first surface of the element with respect to which the used sealing element rotates. The method comprises a step of mounting at least one replacement sealing element so that at least one sealing lip of the replacement sealing element lays on a second surface of the element with respect to which the used sealing element and the replacement sealing element rotate, this second surface being located at a predetermined distance of the first surface.

Method for replacing sealing elements on a rolling bearing assembly and set of sealing elements

A bearing assembly comprises a bearing enabling a rotatable body to rotate about a rotational axis relative to a stationary body. The bearing includes a bearing inner ring and a bearing outer ring, each having at least first and second roller body tracks provided in or on non-parallel surfaces of the ring. The respective roller body tracks of the bearing outer ring are aligned with the respective roller body tracks of the bearing inner ring and a row of roller bodies is disposed between each of the respective sets of roller body tracks. At least one of the rows of roller bodies comprises one of tapered rollers and spherical rollers, at least one of the rows of roller bodies supports at least axial forces and at least one of the rows of the roller bodies supports at least radial forces.

Bearing assembly

A wind power plant comprises an outside ring, an inside ring and roll bodies arranged between an inside jacket of the outside ring and an outside jacket of the inside ring for permitting twisting or rotation of the bearing rings against one another. One of the rings on the jacket comprises an auxiliary sensor at least along a portion of the periphery. The auxiliary sensor together with the primary sensor provided in the other bearing ring are configured in such a way that a twisting or rotational position of the two bearing rings relative to one another can be detected.
