The invention relates to a method for recovering fibers from non-backed, backed and/or deformed carpet scraps and/or back-up material scraps of textile multi-layer composites, in particular of passenger compartment carpeting or luggage compartment carpeting in the field of automobile manufacture.

Method of recovering fibers

A feeding device for fiber flocks or opened fibers for feeding a textile machine, especially a carding machine, has a first, upper vertical fiber chute which supplies the fibers or fiber flocks to rolls for opening of the fibers, and a lower fiber chute which accepts the fibers released by the rolls and discharges a fiber mat at the bottom end of the fiber chute by way of discharge rolls. The feeding device also has a segmented intake trough with several intake trough segments which cooperate with a segmented, clothing-covered first roll, which is divided into several roll segments, wherein the torque of the roll segments can be controlled individually and the widths of the gaps between the intake trough segments and the associated roll segments can be adjusted on a segment-by-segment basis.

Apparatus and method for feeding fibers

Plant and a method for transporting textile fabrics

In the manufacture of a fiber fleece with a nonwoven producing means and a fleece laying machine, which produces from a single or multi-layered nonwoven web contionuously discharged by the nonwoven producing means a fleece web having a thickness variable across the laying width, the nonwoven web is cyclically drawn on the way between the nonwoven producing means and the fleece laying machine at a fixedly determined location, said drawing depending on the laying movements of the fleece laying machine to form a fleece web of a regular cross sectional profile. Between a separate drawing equipment performing the drawing process and the inlet into the fleece laying machine, the nonwoven web may run through a separate, variable buffer storage, which adapts the speed fluctuations of the nonwoven web on the outlet side of the drawing equipment to the intake speed of the fleece laying machine. The fleece laying machine can be formed without its own buffer storage, since the separate buffer storage may also compensate the transport speed fluctuations of the nonwoven web required by the laying movements.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing a fiber fleece

An apparatus for producing fiber material or the like with a prescribable feed weight comprises a conveyor for delivering the fiber flock to a filling stack, which includes a vibrating wall extending in a vertical direction and a displaceable wall, a stationary delivery roller being arranged in a discharge region of the filling stack and a displaceable delivery roller being arranged opposite the stationary roller in the discharge region for controlling the thickness of the layer being deposited on a conveyor. The apparatus also includes a pressure sensor which is provided between the two delivery rollers, which pressure sensor provides signals for controlling the displacement of the displaceable delivery roller, the vibratory frequency for the vibrating wall of the stack and the displacement of the movable wall.

Apparatus for producing fiber material or the like with a precise feed

An apparatus for introducing a relatively loose pile fed from a carder or the like via a conveyor belt or the like into a following roller system, particularly a calender, upon height-reduction of the pile before entry into the roller system, is provided comprising a pile guiding fixture preceding the roller system for compressing the pile while pressing the pile against the conveyor belt.
