A metal strip and a coil coating process for multilayer coating of an endless metal strip are disclosed in which a curable polymer primer is applied to a flat side of the metal strip with the aid of a roller application in order to form an electrically insulating primer layer, a curable polymer varnish is applied to this primer layer with the aid of a roller application and cured in order to form an electrically insulating varnish layer, and at least one electric conductor layer is printed at least in some areas between the primer layer and the varnish layer. In order to enable a stable and inexpensive electrical functionalization of a metal strip, it is proposed that an electrically polarizable layer be applied to at least some regions of the electric conductor layer and that the electric conductor layer and electrically polarizable layer be applied by means of a wet-on-wet process.

Metal strip and coil coating process

An apparatus is described for detecting the location coordinates of a pressure point () within a sensor field, having at least one electric resistance layer () which is connected via electric connections () at the edge to a measurement and evaluation circuit (). In order to become independent of any external supply voltage it is proposed that the electric resistance layer () which is provided with at least three electric connections () is applied to a ferroic layer () made of an internally charged cellular polymer.

Device for detecting the location coordinates of a pressure point within a sensor field

A ferroic component is described, comprising a ferroic layer () arranged between two electrodes (), a thin-film field-effect transistor () whose gate electrode () forms one of the two electrodes () of the ferroic layer () which is joined to the gate electrode () via an intermediate layer () acting as a bonding agent, and a substrate that is used as a support. In order to obtain a flexible component it is proposed that the thin-film field-effect transistor () on the one hand and the ferroic layer () which consists of an internally charged cellular polymer on the other hand are applied to the substrate which is arranged as a flexible plastic film (), optionally by interposing an insulating layer () therebetween.
