A power management device of electronic card includes a functional module, an interface bus, a bus bridge unit, a power storage unit, an external power input unit and a power control unit. The power control unit controls the bus bridge unit, the external power input unit, and the power storage unit, so as to supply the interface power from the bus interface unit to the functional module and further charge the power storage unit, directly supply the interface power from the bus interface unit to the power storage unit for charging the same, supply the external power from the external power input unit to the functional module and further charge the power storage unit, or directly supply the external power from the external power input unit to the power storage unit for charging the same.

Power management device of an electronic card

A multi-functional electronic card capable of detecting removable cards includes at least one functional device, a controller, a host interface, and a removable card interface. The host interface has a card detecting pin fixed at a level representing that a card is inserted. The removable card interface has an elastic switch connected to the device detecting pin of the controller. The controller detects event and status of a card insertion and removal by a level change of the device detecting pin for setting the event and status in a status register, and informs the host device through the host interface so that the host device reads the status register to determine whether the removable card is inserted or removed.

Multi-functional electronic card capable of detecting removable cards

A multi-function electronic card has a host interface, a multi-functional controller and a plurality of function devices. Each function device is connected to the host via the host interface by issuing an interrupt request to the multi-functional controller. The multi-functional controller has an interrupt queue and an interrupt status register, each bit of the interrupt status register corresponding to a function device. When a function device issues an interrupt request, an identification number of the function device is stored into the interrupt queue, and only when all the bits in the interrupt status register are zeros, a corresponding bit in the interrupt status register is set as 1 for issuing an interrupt request to the host. When the host has serviced the function device, the interrupt queue is updated and the interrupt status register is cleared.

Multi-function electronic card

An electronic card capable of changing communication functionality of a coupled electronic device is disclosed. A removable interface has at least a card detection pin which is set at a first state or a second state based on the coupled electronic device. A functional module provides a communication functionality via an access bus or a specific application bus based on whether the card detection pin is at the first state or the second state. A bridge is provided for bridging and converting signals of the interface bus on the removable interface into signals of the access bus or the specific application bus, or vice versa. A multiplexer device selects signals of the access bus or signals of the specific application bus based on whether the card detection pin is at the first state or the second state for being switched to the interface bus.

Electronic card capable of changing communication functionality of a coupled electronic device

There is disclosed a global positioning system electronic card capable of dynamically plugging navigation information, which includes a multi-interface controller, a dynamic insertion/removal card interface for being dynamically inserted with a memory card stored with map data, a GPS module, and a host interface. When the memory card is inserted into the dynamic insertion/removal card interface, the dynamic insertion/removal card interface notifies the multi-interface controller for further informing the host device through the host interface to read the map data in the memory card, thereby displaying a corresponding map. After determining the positioning coordinate, the GPS module notifies the multi-interface controller for further informing the host device through the host interface to read the positioning coordinate determined by the GPS module, which is compared with the map data read previously, thereby labeling a coordinate position on the map.

Global positioning system electronic card capable of dynamically plugging navigation information

An electronic card with dynamic memory allocation management is provided, which requires only one single memory by utilizing a dynamic memory controller having a selector and a first, a second and a third base registers. A first DMA controller provides an output address added to the first base register for performing data access. A micro-controller provides an output address added to the second base register for performing data access. A second DMA controller provides an output address added to the third base register for performing data access. When the micro-controller, the first DMA controller or the second DMA controller issues an access request to the memory, the dynamic memory controller selects one of the micro-controller, and the first and second DMA controllers to access the memory based on a sequence of the access requests.
