A technique facilitates improved setting of downhole devices, e.g. frac plugs. The technique utilizes a setting tool, e.g. a disposable setting tool, which integrates the functionality of a wireline adapter kit to provide a compact disposable solution for setting downhole devices. The setting tool comprises a self metering system which slows an otherwise violent setting action to a controlled setting sequence. The self metering system enables avoidance of the use of slow burn charges sometimes used in conventional setting tools.

A technique facilitates use of a frac diverter instead of a frac plug in a variety of fracturing operations. The frac diverter has a simpler and less expensive construction. Although the frac diverter may not form a seal with the surrounding casing in some applications, the frac diverter is able to sufficiently restrict flow of fracturing fluid to enable a successful fracturing operation. The frac diverter may comprise arrangements of at least one cone, at least one slip ring, and at least one corresponding sub which work in cooperation with a flow restricting element. The flow restricting element may comprise various types of rings, e.g. sealing element rings, able to sufficiently restrict flow of fracturing fluid past the frac diverter.

Disclosed herein are spout assemblies including a spout assembly for pouring liquid fuel, which spout assembly may include a valve body, a valve stem, and a nozzle, in which: the valve body may include: an air flow housing defining an air flow path; a liquid flow housing defining a liquid flow path; and a valve stem housing that includes a valve stem wall defining a valve stem path, the valve stem wall may include: a liquid port capable of liquid communication with the liquid flow path; and an air port capable of fluid communication with the air flow path; the valve stem may be disposed in the valve stem path, and may include: a first stem flange capable of inhibiting air flow from the air flow path to the valve stem path; a second stem flange capable of inhibiting liquid flow from the liquid flow path to the valve stem path; and the nozzle may be coupled to the valve body.

Liquid fuel spout assemblies

A completion assembly for treating a wellbore. The completion assembly can include a tubular member having a bore formed axially therethrough and a port formed radially therethrough. An annulus can be disposed radially outward from the tubular member and the port can provide fluid communication between the annulus and the bore. A packer can be coupled to the tubular member and adapted to isolate first and second portions of the annulus. A seal bore can be coupled to the tubular member such that the port is disposed axially between the packer and the seal bore. A straddle seal can be adapted to contact the packer and the seal bore to prevent fluid flow between the annulus and the bore. The straddle seal can be run into the wellbore with the completion assembly in a single trip.

Methods and systems for treating a wellbore

Gravel packing apparatus and method. The apparatus can include a conduit configured to extend between first and second wellbore intervals and through an isolation valve assembly separating the first and second intervals. A sliding sleeve can be configured to slide between an open position and a closed position. When the sliding sleeve is in the open position, it is configured to allow a flow of gravel slurry through the conduit between the first and second intervals, and when the sliding sleeve is in the closed position, it is configured to completely isolate the first and second intervals from each other.

Shunt isolation valve

A technique that is usable with a well includes running screen assemblies into the well on a base pipe. Each screen assembly is associated with a different zone of the well to be gravel packed. During gravel packing of the well, the screen assemblies may be selectively configured to contain pressure without running a tool inside the base pipe to form a fluid seal.

Method and apparatus for completing a well

A closure cap valve apparatus for mounting on the top of a beverage container. A piston valve within the cap is biased towards closure to prevent spillage. Additionally, pressure increase within the container is directed to increase sealing force of seals positioned on the piston and thus prevents the release of pressure from the container, allowing the closure to be used for carbonated beverages. The piston is displaced from the closed position, even when the container internal pressure is increased, by the user sucking on a mouth piece.
