Disclosed is a system and method to automatically identify property-related risks through the use of computer vision, sensors, and/or building information models (BIMs). The ability to automatically identify a variety of hazards helps mitigate the associated risks, and thus reduces the number of accidents or fatalities that would otherwise occur. In some embodiments, a 'risk map' can be generated by mapping the identified risks for a given property.

Systems and methods for dynamic real-time analysis from multi-modal data fusion for contextual risk identification

A system and method are provided for automatically estimating a repair cost for a vehicle. A method includes: receiving, at a server computing device over an electronic network, one or more images of a damaged vehicle from a client computing device; performing image processing operations on each of the one or more images to detect external damage to a first set of parts of the vehicle; inferring internal damage to a second set of parts of the vehicle based on the detected external damage; and, calculating an estimated repair cost for the vehicle based on the detected external damage and inferred internal damage based on accessing a parts database that includes repair and labor costs for each part in the first and second sets of parts.

Method and system for general-purpose interactive notifications

Methods and systems are provided for monitoring a loosely coupled system, such as a web-based system and a business-to-business (B2B) system. In the case of a web-based system, exchanges between a web client and a web server may be monitored to determine quality and performance of the web-based system. The exchanges may include objects and attributes communicated from the web server to the web client. The exchanges may also include information about actions performed on objects as a user navigates through web pages displayed by the web client. For example, when the user selects a hyperlink, the monitoring system may recognize the hyperlink as an action. Accordingly, the actions along with the objects and their associated attributes may be recorded. The objects and their associated attributes may then be retrieved from the web server and the recorded actions may be played back against the retrieved objects based on the recorded attributes and the retrieved attributes. The results of the play back may be compared with the expected results to monitor the quality and performance of the web server. Additional actions may also be generated based on user defined rules and played against the retrieved objects to monitor alternate aspects of the web server.

Methods and systems for monitoring quality assurance

An innovative rule based method and system for creating test cases for the Year 2000 compliance testing of software systems is described. Using the method and system of the present invention, the user will first input information as rules relating to the business logic of the system. After obtaining the business logic, the system will transform input test cases into output test cases for the Year 2000 compliance testing. The term test cases, used in a broad sense here, refer to regression test cases written in any test automation languages, archive of test input/output data files, or snap shots of transactions captured using a recording tool. The system operates by first parsing the input files and based upon the business logic, it identifies date, time, or duration dependent variables or constants ('date dependent fields' collectively) in the input test cases. The system then substitutes risky dates, time, or duration for these fields in a manner which preserves the business logic. Risky values here refer to values that are important for the Year 2000 compliance testing--a set of values which may be user-defined. The system provides several modes of generation of output test cases depending upon the users' needs. The system can be retrofitted to deal with generation of test cases for any one time change to a software system. For example, when seven digits telephone numbers are replaced by ten digit numbers or various currencies are replaced by a single currency unit and so forth.

System and method for generating year 2000 test cases

Our method and system for enumerating a minimal number of test cases for systems with interacting elements operates relationships between the elements and the number of characteristics evaluated for each element. In our inventive method as executed in a computer system, the user enters values for each of the elements and then defines relationships between the elements. Our method then enumerates a table of test cases for each relationship between elements using deterministic procedures, when applicable, and random procedures when the deterministic procedures are not applicable. After a table of test cases is generated for each of the relation, our inventive method combines relationships into a single table of test cases.
