A portable air purifier is provided. In the portable air purifier, a fan base is disposed between a fan module including a mixed flow fan and a filter, and forms a passage that connects the filter and the fan module while coupling the filter and the fan module. Accordingly, the portable air purifier can ensure improvement in air purification performance with no increase in size of the portable air purifier.

A portable air purifier and a fan module therein are provided. The portable air purifier includes a fan module that is disposed between a discharge surface and a filter, and suctions air having passed through the filter, in an axial direction, and discharges the air in a direction between the axial direction and a radial direction.

A portable air purifier may include an inlet configured to form a path along which air is suctioned, a filter disposed at an upper side of the inlet and configured to purify air which enters through the inlet and moves upward, a sanitizing portion disposed at a lower side of the filter, installed at a height allowing the sanitizing portion to overlap the inlet, and configured to irradiate sanitizing light toward the filter, and a fan module disposed at an upper side of the filter and configured to rotate a fan to blow air in a direction toward the upper side of the filter.

A mixed flow fan module and a portable air purifier including a mixed flow fan module are provided. The mixed flow fan module may include a fan housing having an outer surface that is curved along a circumferential direction and defining an operation space, a fan rotatably disposed inside of the fan housing, and a fan base coupled to the fan housing and configured to guide air toward the fan.

An outdoor fan for an air-conditioner is provided to reduce unnecessary energy consumption and noise generated during an operation by reducing a side circulation flow generated when the fan rotates. The outdoor fan may include a hub shaft with a side hole, and rotary blades that convert rotary power received from the hub shaft into a pressure difference. The hub shaft may include a main plate unit perpendicular to the hub shaft and, positioned at a front side as compared to a virtual plane that includes the side hole, and the main plate unit to cover at least a portion of the hub shaft.
