Embodiments are provided for cognitive bias detection and correction in self-reported data. In some embodiments, a system can include a processor that executes computer-executable components stored in memory. The computer-executable components include first components that creates an ontology of bias descriptor features to identify cognitive biases. The cognitive biases can include a combination of at least one device-induced cognitive bias, at least one testing-application-induced cognitive bias, or at least one study-design-induced cognitive bias.

Cognitive bias detection and correction in self-reported data

A mechanism is provided for implementing a dynamic context-based collaborative medical concept interpreter for automatically generating and presenting summarized explanations of medical concepts. The dynamic context-based collaborative medical concept interpreter performs natural language processing on a real-time patient-provider communication to identify one or more medical concepts referred to in the communication. The dynamic context-based collaborative medical concept interpreter adjusts one or more previous explanations for the one or more medical concepts referred to in the communication using a set of contextual factors. The dynamic context-based collaborative medical concept interpreter generates an abstractive summary that summarizes ranked explanations of the one or more medical concepts based on an original language used in the one or more previous explanations. The dynamic context-based collaborative medical concept interpreter presents, in real time, the abstractive summaries of the one or more medical concepts to the patient and the provider in real-time patient-provider communication.

Dynamic context-based collaborative medical concept interpreter

A system provides an intervention for a user and comprises at least one processor. The system monitors behavior and context of a user to generate a behavior history. One or more models are utilized to determine an intervention for the user to induce a behavior modification, wherein the one or more models map interventions to user context and behavior and utilize the behavior history to determine an effective intervention for the user. The intervention is provided to the user and feedback is received in response to the intervention. The one or more models are updated based on the feedback. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for providing an intervention to a user in substantially the same manner described above.
